SDEParticipantjust got the word that Boston wanted to trade Rondo because of a issue with Pierce. Blows almost was thrown,KG and Doc had his back but they said it blew up and he informed them that he will not resign when FA come around so they tried to trade him.
Pistons said no because rondo wanted to play on the west coast. Portalnd made a move but boston wanted Bayless,Outlaw and #1 draft pick.He would have made portland a threat on the west coast.
Where do yall thnk Rondo will go?

Lemons4LifeParticipantPlus, I think actually with Fisher getting old the Lakers would love to have him. Just my opinion.

gatorheelsParticipantEverybody knows the reason the Celtics had Rondo on the trade block is for the simple reason that he is hard to coach. If the Celtics could get a fair deal then yes they would trade Rondo but I don’t see it happening. Now that Garnett is back he will keep Rondo under control. Now in 2010 when Rondo is a free agent I am not sure that Boston will resign him. Rondo will likely ask for a lot of money & other teams will come after him. It likely depends on how Rondo acts & performs this season.
