I’m a big fan Sienna guard Ronald Moore. He is a quick playmaker and solid defender for a very solid Sienna team and a finalist for the Cousey award. He doesn’t have a good jump shot, nor is very effective as a scorer, but he is an elite playmaker. Personally, I don’t think he will get drafted, but probably have to play well as a FA in the Summer League to make it to the NBA. Still, then his shots are pretty slim, players like him have played in the NBA, but never for very long usually returning to the D-League, Aaron Miles and Pepe Sanchez are a couple that come to mind. He has a long road ahead of him, but I just wanted to see what you guys thought of him and his chances.

I like his game a lot, but his jump shot is sub-par. If his jump shot was even average I would think he would make a team after training camp. I think he will be a successful player in the NBDL or Europe though.

Yeah, i hear you, if he were able to add a jumper to his game he would be, but maybe after a few years in the D-League or overseas he could get called up.

I agree with you. I mean I know at one point this season he was leading the nation in assists and Siena is a possible sweet 16 team this year, so that’s impressive. How durable is he, he is only 6’0″ can he last extended minutes if need be if he were on a summer league team?

I don’t know, since Siena is a tournament team and I agree with what you said about them making a run we will potentially see what he can do with an extended college season playing in big games. From what I’ve seen of him he seems to be a high energy guy who is in good shape, since he isn’t banging in the paint I personally don’t think durability will be as big of an issue for him as it would be a post player.
