Haha Ron Artest is a nutjob….Check this article out

Ron Artest’s Drinking: Laker Admits He Drank Hennessy During Halftime

Ron Artest drank cognac during halftime of Chicago Bulls games, the Lakers forward tells the Sporting News. According to Artest, “I used to drink Hennessy … at halftime. I (kept it) in my locker. I’d just walk to the liquor store (near the stadium) and get it.”

Artest also adressed the infamous fight at the Palace of Auburn Hills

“It wasn’t my fault. … I don’t see anything I could have done different. The only thing I could have done was have God pause time so I could have said, ‘Oh, look, you’re about to run in some stands, so stop.'”

This also followed Ron Artests visit to Jimmy Kimmel in just boxers

Yeah, I read this earlier. Ron needs to chill out and play basketball. If you add the Jimmy Kimmel stunt and his antics are starting to add up. I want to see the Artest who played in Sacramento and Houston, where he was quiet and there were no off the court issues.

Dhamp2…the greatest basketball mind in the world. Next to Hubie Brown anyway.

    1. Carmelo will lead the NBA in scoring.
    2. Dwight Howard is overated.
    3. Wesley Johnson is a top 15 pick and the best transfer in the country.
    4. There’s no way Steve Nash should have two MVP, while Kobe has one.
    5. The Lakers will repeat.
    6. Eric Devendorf will be drafted (sorry about that one).
    7. R.I.P. Earl Manigualt.
    8. I don’t always dring beer, but when I do, I drink Dos Equis. Stay Thirsty my friends.

Rodman is going to be the biggist of all clowns, just look at the man’s hair colors. Artest is just plain out Ghetto. Barkley just speaks the truth and what’s on his mind. He says what everyone is thinking but won’t say on national television.

I doubt Artest was actually drinking during halftime. Seems his coaches and/or teammates would’ve said something and put a stop to that pretty quickly. Either way, he’s really, really ,really, REALLY lucky he’s tall, ’cause he’d be stacking groceries or doing county time if he was half a foot shorter.

i like Artest a lot and think he helps the Lakers, but stuff like this is getting annoying. He is soo attention starved and LA gives him the perfect place to get attention. I wish he would just shut up and play great basketball like he did last year for Houston

It’s stupid of him to come out and say this stuff. It doesn’t do anything but make him look bad. but he really hasn’t been any kind of distraction yet this year for the lakers. On a similar note, do you guys remember the football player Maurice Clarrett from Ohio St ? I read where he was drinking grey goose vodka during practices with the Broncos. He would tell teammates he would be right back because he had to “get his goose on”. No wonder he never made it.

He made a song in 2006 called Haterz and he admits in it that he drank during halftime and smoked before games. I don’t see why this is coming out now. The news is 3 almost 4 years late.

Lawrence Taylor the best linebacker of his era admitted to blowing lines at halftime of Giants games in the early 90’s. Its just a shame when people do stuff like that, it’s not only a risk to themselves, but to the other people out on the feild/court. I hope those antics are a thing of the past. We all know Ron Ron has a screw or two loose which is part of his appeal and what makes him a great defender, but he is a 30 year old professional athlete.

He’s overrated and only seemed like he went to the Lakers for the media spotlight.
Obviously no one cares about Houston even less now that Yao is out so he leaves.
