rvirsalParticipantit’s possible. after what he did in summer league? i think he could, and he’s got size also. but barea was pretty okay last year.

R-Dot-13ParticipantDefinite future starter, IMO possibly of being the best pg from this class with Jennings.

doubledribblerParticipantI think that he could definitely take a lot of the backup minutes, but as of right now Dallas doesn’t have many shooters so J.J. will have to get time. I see them dividing up a lot of time depending upon the team and the matchup, plus those two should help to keep Kidd fresh as he is getting older. I see Rodrique causing a lot of havoc with his speed and length and he is going to be really valuable if he can keep up the outside stroke that he showed in summer league. If Dallas can reign in a shooting guard (I think McCants would be a great pickup for them) then that will probably be what cuts Barea’s time, meaning more time for Rodrique.

JNixonParticipantYea, he’s their PG of the future. He is a more natural PG and he is a good looking shooter with much better PG skills than Barea. I think Dallas should groom him to take Kidd’s spot in a year or 2.

IndianaBasketballParticipantIMO Beubous will eventually end up being a top ten player out of this draft class. He’s in a great situation in Dallas playing behind one of the greatest point guards ever. I’m sure Kidd will take him under his wing just like he has done with Barea.

sheltwon3ParticipantI think by the second half Beaubois will be the primary back up to Jason Kidd. I feel for Barea because there is nothing he can do with someone just being better than you.
