pistonkidParticipantKINGS HAVE MADE THEIR PICK AVAILABLE!! WTF!!!
should have been GSW and Toronto.
GSW and Toronto are only 2 teams in top 10 that dont really need their pick in top 10.

GrandmamaParticipantThe Rockets are very high on Andre Drummond and hope to acquire a top-10 pick in the draft, and both the Kings (No. 5) and Raptors (No. 8) have reportedly made their picks available.
The Rockets can send back either of their first-round picks, Nos. 14 & 16, but ESPN reports that "the key to any trade going through could be point guard Kyle Lowry." The timing of this report is interesting, as Lowry almost simultaneously sent out a cryptic Tweet saying "It’s been real." Don’t be surprised if the Rockets pull a major trade in the coming days, whether or not Lowry is involved.Related: Goran DragicSource: ESPN.comJun 24 – 11:30 PM via RotoworldNow I doubt Drummond would be available at 8, but it sounds like he may be available at 5 or 6. I could see a possible trade scenario between Houston/Sacramento or Houston/Portland involving picks and Kyle Lowry.0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/24/2012 - 9:42pm #687241

pistonkidParticipantim not talking about a team trading their first round pick(for extra picks – trading down) like charlotte should do for extra picks thats a good trade maybe for for like late first round picks etc im actually talking about GSW and Toronto would be the only 2 teams in top 10 that would be prepared to lose their pick in top 10 for absolutely nothing and it wouldnt really affect them in any way.

nick5354ParticipantI don’t know Lowry being a key would help with a deal with the Kings as they already have Thomas and Jimmer.
And Drummond will be gone by pick 8

kobyzParticipanti heard that GMs are very worry about Drummond, they see the motor thing as very big deal(i also compare his attitude to that of Darko), it’s been say that he keep falling and now he’s not sure to be a top 10 pick, so maybe there’s a case he will be there for The Rockets at 14.

KHAM83ParticipantI put money on it, no way in hell New Orleans passes on Drummond at 10 if for some reason he’s still available.

Toronto16ParticipantHe might still be available at 8, so for Lowry and 14 + 16, I’d trade #8 and Ed Davis.

ghettosermonParticipant^^ Trading 14+16 just to move up 6 spots and probably still not get Drummond, and just because Lowry wants out doesn’t mean they will trade one of the more all around PG’s in the league for cheap. They don’t even really have a need for Ed Davis either as they already have a log jam at PF with Scola, Patterson, and Marcus Morris who has to play PF at times when he has a bad matchup where he doesn’t have the foot speed to guard the perimeter.

Stinky34ParticipantThere not really intetested in any player, they want to get a high pick to trade for Dwight Howard…

Andrew1984ParticipantI’m hearing Houston may be offering Kyle Lowry to Toronto and Kevin Martin, No. 14, and No. 16 to Orlando in exchange for Dight Howard. Orlando would also receive the No. 8 pick and a player from Toronto. This would give the Magic Kevin Martin, a player from Toronto (Bayless?) No. 8, No. 14, and No. 16. They would probably send No. 19 to Toronto.

WolfRobParticipantIf that went through ^^^
Orlando would have to roll the dice on PJIII with one of those picks.

Andrew1984ParticipantI think Orlando could still bring in a better haul for Howard than Kevin Martin, a bench player, No. 8, No. 14, and No. 16. Chad Ford and Marc Stein wrote that they want two top 10 picks, and even then, they may still want to take a run at getting Dwight to sign an extension, and wait until the deadline to trade him. The above post is just what I hear Houston is offering. I guess they’re also working on acquiring No. 5 from Sacramento.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantRockets fan here
As much as I think Drummond will be a bust, I wouldn’t mind taking a shot here. We’re taking a shot with Donatas Motiejunas already anyway and our team isn’t going anywhere soon. Might as well hope for the best.

Bmore_DCParticipantSo Blazers would get their PG (Lowry) and some more picks, not bad for them if that went down…
if im the Kings, i dont trade the 5th pick…somebody might fall in their laps
