paradigmnParticipantISAIAH THOMAS is coming out with a documentery about his "long shot" at making the NBA. The trailer is kinda inspiring. He talks about all his doubters throughout his life. I have to admit, I didn’t have him in my 2011 Mock…lol…seems like a good guy, I hope he continues to prove people wrong.

HarbingerI was so surprised he went to 60 he will make alot of teams pay. He was ungaurdable through most of the tourney he hit a game winning shot off the dribble one game after killing the team the entire game and i didnt go wild because he was doing the same move to get the jumpshot off they knew it was coming but couldn’t stop it. Good post

MagikKnickParticipantCan you imagine being at that drafting just to celebrate IT getting drafted, then going through 59 picks…that must’ve been a depressing feeling..
But imo, hes definetly an NBA player, I believe if he was 6’1 he would of been a first rounder….
I dont see why he cant do for an NBA team what JJ Barea did for the Mavs throughout the playoffs

TRC1991Participantbeing from seattle i was able to watch him for 4 years and i loved his presence, he has such ridiculous confidence and swag as kids are calling it now-a-days…but sometimes he tries to do a little bit too much and gets a tad bit out of control…still an excellent player and im super excited that hes going to the league

mikeyvthedonParticipantThere was no one I would have rather seen been called with the 60th pick. I felt he was going to go sooner, but I was really happy he got drafted. Keep in mind, he goes to an arch rival school, and I hold him in that high of a regard. He is a complete gamer, and whether it is in Sacramento, or elsewhere, he will make a name for himself playing basketball. He may be short (think he is really shorter than he was measured), but he is quick and can get off his shot against anybody. Plus, he is incredibly strong. I would not be surprised if he got some solid PT next year, and I think a lot of teams will regret passing on him.
They compare him to Barea for a reason, he just has a knack for being able to create shots near the basket, against all odds. I understand that those are his boys talking him up and all, but he has been a special player for a long time, and I think they are making a point. Definitely will be a flick I would want to check out, and the Kings got a player who I think is going to be much better than a majority of players in this draft. He may be Mr. Irrelevant, but he will be a name you remember. He is not Isiah Thomas, but Isaiah will make his own name known.

llperezthe only real knock on him is size. He has all the skills can shoot and is a great athlete/ competitor. If he were 6-1, he might have been lotto.
