So i was watching RJ yesterday at the nike hoop summit, he was easily the youngest player there at 16. He had 9 points and 2 assists, not the best statline but considering he was at least 2 years younger than everone he still played well. He is ranked as the number one player in the 2019 class but he may try and graduate in the 2018 class with Bagely and Zion. Any comps for this kid, and could he go number one in the 2019 draft if he graduated in 2018?

I compared him to Richard Jefferson awhile back, could probably come up with a better one. If he reclasses I would have him behind Bagley and Williamson. If he stays in 2019, he’s the best right now but I would give Bassey the long term edge.

i think he will get wiggins type of hype when he declares RJ has no holes in his game other than needing to improve his jumper some more but hes 16….

Pretty much all elite players at that age need to improve their jumper because they can just get to the rim with their athleticism.

the Wiggins comparisons will be there because of how smooth of an athlete he is at such a young age. Really moves like a gaurd at 6’7. Cant wait tonsee him in a more featured role at the hoop summit.

During the game Jarred Vanderbilt, Jaren Jackson and Colin Sexton really impressed me. Jaren Jackson is so much bigger than I remember him being. Isaiah Hartenstein didnt do anything overwhelmingly impressive but basically confirmed his projected spot in the draft is valid at around 10-20.
