dwight12first of all hes too weak. second he wont be able to guard the chris pauls, jameer nelsons, deron williams, billups, tony parker, the list goes on and on. i just dont see nothing special about him. he aint no better than sergio rodriquez. yeah i said it.

NYK2010ParticipantAs he the next Steve Nash or Milos Vujanic? Spanish players seem to be doing well in the league, drafting foreign guards probably less risky than their big men.

NYK423ParticipantThe kid is 18 there is def room for him to add muscle. Second the kid was defensive player of the year in his league and steve nash cant guard those guys and yet he has won two mvps. He has a great iq and floor vision. His shooting stinks but he has pretty good form and if he works on it he’ll be fine. Plus Derrick rose and Rajon Rondo have no shot and they led there team to the playoffs and are considered top ten pgs. He might not be steve nash but he is ten times better than sergio rodriguez. He is obviously an upside pick but i dont think he will be any worse than an average starting pg.

JNixonParticipantHe does remind me of Sergio Rodriguez. Alot of the things they say about Rubio are the same exact things they said about Sergio. I think he will underachieve, Im not that impressed with him

fliptonnParticipantthe kid has eyes in the back of his head. he averaged like three steals a game in the olympics not to mention 3 a game against USA where he guarded umm chris paul and deron williams. Hes been an impact player in the best league in Europe since age 16 where hes put on about 2 inch and 15 pounds. Hes clutch, you can look up numerous buzzer beaters. His only real problem is his outside shot and he has plenty of time to work on that. but then again jason kidd, john stockton and other greats didnt have a shot. in the right system his career could really launch

HaleParticipantYour arguments have no weight. Rubio growing two inches and gaining 15 pounds? Puberty, duh. Plus 15 pounds in 2 years isn’t even that good for that age at all. You cannor compare him to Nash, as he can’t shoot like him. Can’t compare him to Rose because he has no where near the athleticism of Rose.
