Coach JackParticipantI know that Ratliff shot only two perimeter shots during his senior season, but believe me NBA coaches, Ricardo can shot from the perimeter. Ratliff was the best three point shooter on his high school team. I know that you will say, that was high school. However, you had to see the form and touch in his shots from the arc and within. Now this was more of a spot up shot than an off the dribble one. Ratliff can knock down shots under pressure. The reason why you did not see this ability is because of his JUCO and Missouri teams make up that forced Ricardo to be a primary post player. Which he did effectively and is a display of his versatility.

llperezhe didnt even attempt one single three for mizzou this past season. I mean he can stroke it but never ever takes any at all? Well if he can really stroke it but chooses not to, then he should be a good ft shooter right? I mean ft shooting shows good mechanincs and form. Well ratliff was 69% from the ft line this year after shooting 63% the year before.
Sorry, not buying how great a three point shooter he is and i dont even know who he is.

JoeWolf1I saw Julian Wright nailing 3’s in an open gym one time, but I didn’t interprit that as he was a great perimeter shooter.
I like Ratliff as a mid to late 2nd round prospect, but I agree with perez.

M-EazyParticipantYou said he was the best shooter on his HS team. I’m from his city and can tell you Kecoughtan had no talent but him lol.

i’m jus so offendedParticipantWhy would he have ever shot a 3? Denmon, English, Dixon and the Pressey’s handled that quite well by my accounts. Also, why would he jack one up when he was hiiighly succesful inside the arc. He was shooting 70 percent all year and almost set the single season record for FG%. I think he could end up as a nice end of the bench guy who could eventually crack a rotation with some experience and coaching. He is strong and rebounds with great touch around the rim. I would take him early 2nd round.

JNixonParticipantRatliffe played on the wing at times when he was in JUCO. The fact that he played down low so much at Mizzou covers that up, but he does have some perimeter touch. He didnt need to show it on a team that didnt have size
