 Combine results, 6’9.5 with shoes, 304 pounds, 7’4.5 wingspan, 9’1.5 standing reach, 31 max vert, 22.4% body fat, 14 bench reps, 13.22 lane agility, and 3.55 3/4 court shuttle. 

 

I tried to keep up hopes for him, he truly was talented and may still have it if he works, but he’s done, HELLO Europe.

Having a 31 inch vert and running a 3.55 at 22.4% body fat is pretty good. If he was at even 10% his numbers would be awesome. Too bad he’ll never get there.

Damn he is fat look at that body fat% , he was twice the body fat of the next highest guys at the combine.  What a waste of talent , dude has top 10 pick written all over him if he just half ass tried.  Too bad he is possibly the laziest prospect I have seen in my lifetime.  I remember the days when people thought he was better than Derrick Favors and Demarcus Cousins back in 2008.

 Yeah I definitely thought he could have been better than both, His ball handling, and perimeter game in high school was amazing. I always had it Renardo Sidney, Demarcus Cousins, and then Derrick Favors, now both of them are being success’ in the NBA and he’s just 22.4% fat… smh

 Just Imagine if he was 270 lbs. His standing reach, wingspan, and height are pretty good for an NBA power forward/center. He should be stronger but his 3/4th is pretty good, makes it more impressive for a man his size.

 I wasn’t aware Sidney was invited to the combine. Don’t remember seeing him when I watched it, and I don’t see him on the list of measurements either. But I agree with everything said about his potential- Stanley Roberts 2.0

Work Ethic,Attitude and Laziness are the same as Stanley Roberts..But Sidney has more talent than Roberts…

I dont see him getting drafted after showing he couldnt keep up with guys becuz of getting short winded at the Nets camp..

But i think some team will give him an invite,but not draft him..He’s too good not to get a look…

He probably can’t make Euro team.  Euro teams are usually very team oriented. Sidney being so immature and had a pretty bad rep in college made him a very bad fit for any Euro teams.

I think he could try dleague or some south american league.

Hopefully something in his head clicks and he realizes he’s throwing away millions of dollars and tons of ability. People like Sidney disgust me, all the natural ability and potential in the world, yet he’s throwing it away because he’s either too damn lazy or too stupid to get in shape. So sad. Does he have zero guidance from everyone in his life? Where are his coaches, family, friends, agents who could help him stay motivated or focused? I really don’t get him…..

I don’t really care about his bodily attributes. Zach Randolph anyone? Problem is he has a terrible attitude. I wish him luck though. I would love to see him on Chicago.
