    Renaldo Balkman, who plays for the Knicks whenever the NBA returns from lockout, earned an ejection from Monday’s FIBA Americas game when the Puerto Rico representative head-butted the Grizzlies’ Greivis Vásquez (playing for Venezuela) player after a hard foul.

    Both Balkman and Venezuelan Nestor Colmenares were ejected after the shoving match erupted.

    1st things 1st. Why is a guy who was born on Staten Island even playing for Puerto Rico?

    2nd things 2nd. He looks like an absolute bi tch in this video. Gives Vasquez a headbutt then a soft little push sends him flying to the ground.

    3rd things 3rd. He looks like a dinosaur

     That wasn’t even a hard foul. Vasquez just wrapped him up to prevent him from scoring and he’s taking his chance with Balkman having two free throws opposed to two free points….

     I remember when Zinedine Zidane did this in the 2006 World Cup. Balkman wasn’t as hard as his was though. Balkman serves no purpose on the Knicks, he rides the bench the whole game and when he does get in a game he doesn’t do anything productive. Vasquez should not have fouled him like that, but on the other hand is wasn’t that bad of a foul, so I don’t know why he reacted like that.
