Now that the dust has settled, there’s pretty much two top free agents left: Schroder and Markkanen. Both restricted, but unlikely to go back to their original team. Not many teams have cap room any more, so probably a couple sign and trades will come out of this. Been talk about Schroder to Boston, which would be a decent fit as I don’t think you want Smart as your starting PG. Sounds like Lauri’s looking for a bit too much money (Spurs and Hornets didn’t wanna pay for him). OKC has cap room and could take a chance on him. I’d also like to see Minny get him in a S&T (Chicago could get a couple guys back to help their depth).

After those 2, you have some veteran guys like Millsap, Bradley, Matthews, Ennis, Galloway and RHJ. These guys will probably end up on contending teams.

Then you have some younger guys who have shown a bit and have potential like Hart, Vanderbilt, Giles, Diallo and my man Svi.

As a homer, I’d like to see the Raptors grab Diallo or Svi as I think their development team could turn them into solid players.

What is everyone else feeling on the remaining guys?

Lakers still need another C and PG so I am hoping they get Isaiah Hartenstein, Marquese Chriss, or Arron Baynes and keep Dennis Schroder on a reasonable short contract, Dante Exum, Elfrid Payton, Frank Ntilinka, or Shaquille Harrison.

I thought I heard Payton was signing with Phoenix, which is a good pickup for your 3rd string PG.

Phoenix was thinking about it, but nothing has been done yet. Just saw Baynes is likely to miss all of next season with a neck injury he suffered in bronze medal game so scratch him off the list.

Heat still need either a wing defender or a backup PG. Oladipo won’t be available until January/February so we need to fill that void.

I think Josh Hart is underrated – great defender and rebounder can shoot a bit, good in transition. My Cavs really need a SF, would be happy with a dude like Hart

Looks like Lakers will land Lou Williams in a few days for Dennis Schroder

Norrin Radd source on that because I have seen that reported absolutely nowhere.

It never came to fruition obviously, but I saw that on “the Jump”.
