Stojakovicfor3Participanthttp://nbaprospects.blogspot.com/2011/05/reggie-jackson-has-promise.html This thread is for Allen Iverson 3. I posted on your mock draft thread and commented on it. Here’s my source. Anyways, comments?

M-DYMESParticipantTo accept this as a gurantee is ludacris imo. Both sources are from blogs…things any person can write in and claim they have the credentials. Sorry but I need better proof then that to convince me. Interesting though .

Stojakovicfor3ParticipantI think the quote from Reggie Jackson’s campaign, “Danny’s already guaranteed him,” “He saw a ton of games at BC this year” is reliable. The other one from the blog isn’t at all.

johnecoParticipantIt sounds unlikely to me.
Why would he shut out other teams who might want to draft him earlier, so he can make less money AND get no time behind Rondo?

Stojakovicfor3Participant@johneco What do you mean teams that migh want to draft him earlier? He pulled out of the Nets and Bulls workouts. The Nets pick 27th and the Bulls pick 28th and 30th.

Stojakovicfor3ParticipantNevermind. I read that wrong.

Stojakovicfor3ParticipantI should have put a question mark after the title

i’m jus so offendedParticipantAlso, I think it’s very very possible he’s not around for the Celtics to swoop him up. Wow I just looked at my mock and had him going to beantown before i heard about this haha…and I was hoping the Celtics would take a young big man to bolster that aging front line, like Vucevic or Benson or even Jeremy Tyler, and I think Jereme Richmond would be a good fit there

fredrock34ParticipantReggie Jackson is a good player but the last thing the celtics need is another backup point guard. they already have Avery Bradley who should be ready to step in as the back up point guard next year and has alot more upside. plus they could sign Delante West for cheap and use the 25th pick to get a big man or a back up wingman, which is what they really need.
