torontoraptors10ParticipantI was just about to post an article about this! I also hope this day doesn’t come, I remember the NHL lockout a few years ago and that was ugly. I honestly hope David Stern gets this settled cause I don’t want to miss any basketball!
Does anyone when this lockout will possibly happen?

llperezit’s not a lockout on basketball. No games will be missed. They are just discussing locking out the refs and replacing them with dleague refs and such.
If I were the league, they have all the chips. I would just give a hard date and say take it or leave it. If the refs leave it, then they miss the whole season without pay before going back into negotiations next year.

marcusfizer21ParticipantIt has been tough during these economic times and the refs should have understand that… They are also important in the game of basketball but if they show that they are greedy then replacement refs will be given that opportunity to make the calls… A big opportunity for all those who aspire to be an NBA referee one day…
Note to Ted Bernhardt: You are the worst referee ever… No wonder you got headbutted by Dennis Rodman during the 1995-96 season… You deserve that… You made terrible calls… The worst was the 2003 All-Star game in which the East SHOULD have won but due to your blindness you weren’t able to see that Jermaine O’Neal didn’t push off Kobe Bryant while hitting the 3. You called it anyway… That was ba, pretty bad! The Kobe free throws send the game to OT… It would have been a memorable final All-Star for Michael Jordan who hit a fade-away jumper for the lead before your terrible call….

llperezcome on fizer, i know your a jordan fan, but i just went over to youtube to check the replay of the o’neal foul on kobe, and it was clear as day. He slamed into his body while Kobe was in the air shooting, you can’t honestly say that was not a foul.
