What do you guys think about the refs not getting a deal done? Do you think it will impact the season, or do you think the replacements from the nbdl and wnba will do a solid job and we will hardly notice?

It will be a big difference in their impact on the game, most of these NBA ref’s have been ref’s for 20+ or 30+ years, they know the ins and outs of the NBA game as well as the players.

Considering how bad the refs were in some games maybe new blood will help as long as they dont let players and fans intimidate them. New people may actually call the game the way it should be.

They didnt just pick random bums of the street, alot of the “replacement refs” have been refereeing in the WNBA and D-League for years, so there not total rookies

There biggest challenge would be dealing with the superstars, and the personalitys of the NBA

Plus,remember the WNBA game is alot different, rules wise and game style wise

I think the replacements know all the rules. But in the NBA you have to deal with ego’s both the players and coaches. You can’t be intimidated.

i think sum new blood will be great for the league
i swear the ref be cheating all the time callin a buch of crap on yao on stupid plays
i know the new refs know the game as much as the old ones
and if they do cheat do it 4 the blazers or the cavs and the knick somebody please cheat 4 the knicks
