Reeves Nelson will meet with UCLA head coach Ben Howland to discuss his future with the team.

Asked what the meeting was about, Howland said, "Just his behavior after the game [against Loyola Marymount], for example, walking off the court the other day, a number of things of that nature."

Nelson appeared frustrated for a good portion of UCLA’s loss to Loyola Marymount last week.

Nelson, who recently appeared on the regional cover of Sports Illustrated’s college basketball preview, has a reputation for sulking and berating teammates.

I’m a huge Nelson fan and he is uclas best player. But he is defenitely a hot head. He openly screams at teammates and will rifle the ball at that them after mistakes in obvious frustration.

 His body language pointed to this.  He looked uninterested in the game.  During huddles, he would stand at the very back with an attitude.  Let’s hope that Ben Howland doesn’t lose another one.  The amount of people he loses is amazing.  It seems like one player every year decides to transfer or leave the team.

 First I would like to congradulate the Lions for beating UCLA, I worked as a strength and conditioning intern at LMU for two years and know most the guys one the team and their work is finally starting to pay off. That being said, the entire team, not just Reeves, seemed mentally checked out with 10 minutes to go in the game when it was still close.  They seemed defeated way before the game was out of hand.  Reeves is their best player and needs to show a little more leadership if this team wants to go anywhere.

It looks as if reeves is suspended indefinetly,  He has another meeting with coach howland later in the week.  This could be a big blow to the bruins season.
