    Current Line Up

    Stuckey
    Hamilton
    Prince
    Jerebko
    Monroe

    Gordon
    McGrady
    White
    Maxiell
    Wallace
    Wilcox
    Villanueva
    Bynum

    ok trade

Hamilton and Wilcox to Utah for Okur

Prince to Cleveland for Varejao and his ridiculous contract why they need some D inside

    Wallace to Denver for Balkman

    Depth Chart now

    White/Bynum
    Stuckey/Gordon
    McGrady/Jerebko/Balkman
    Monroe/Maxiell
    Okur/Varejoa

A lot of D in that line up and enough O to at least compete no playoffs a posible top 5 pick and draft Barnes, Jones, Irving, Kanter, Melo, Selby at least someone to build around

Who will be playing centre for the Jazz then? Wilcox is better suited playing PF and isn’t Krylylo Fesenko a free agent?

the Pistons will have a top pick, will they draft a center or a true point guard?

if a center, does Monroe start with Jerebko off the bench in a Lamar Odom Role? Does Jerebko start the 3 with Daye at the 2?

if a point guard, what happens to Stuckey if they cant trade Rip or Ben Gordon?

    Stuckey
    Hamilton
    Daye
    Villanueva

If I were Utah I would not accept that trade. I like Rip because I know he could really flourish in Utah’s system but Wilcox, c’mon he is an old player who could only serve as a backup C. Okur is a starter not a backup. Jefferson is not going to play Center fulltime just until Okur is back from his injury. And then he will see time at both positions but most of it will be at the 4. I covet Rip, but I’ve moved on and am now looking for some draft pick or a young player to fill that role. For now its Raja Bell, but I think Miles might actually work there soon. He showed some nice improvement in the playoffs anyway back to Detroit.

They need to switch Stuckey to the 2 guard. He is not a PG in any sense of the word. He is much better at the 2. He could play part time point but should start playing the 2 more often. They really need to give up Tayshaun, or Rip or both. They should have done this last offseason, when they added Gordon and Villanueva.
How about Rip and Villanueva to Washington for Arenas.
Tayshaun to Golden State for Biedrins.

    Starting Lineup after trades:
    Arenas/White
    Stuckey/Gordon
    T-Mac/Daye
    Monroe/Jerebko(Lamar Odom type role)/Wilcox
    Biedrins/Wallace

This lineup would cause a lot of problems for a lot of teams. You have a great shooter/point in Arenas. He can play extremely fast and is not a horrible PG. While he may not be a true PG, he is certainly the kind that most every team dreams about having. 2 possibly 3 lockdown defenders in Stuckey, Biedrins, and Jerebko. Two, possibly three dynamite scorers (Stuckey, Arenas and T-Mac) Then a PF who can pass like a guard, has a decent jumper, and nice post game as well. This lineup would certainly be more successful than the current one.

Team is awful and they have too many SG/SF’s
Rip Hamilton has to go but who is taking that contract for 3 years.

The lineup looks something like this.

    Stuckey/Bynum
    Hamilton/Gordon
    Prince/Tmac/Daye
    Villanueva/Maxiell/Jerebko
    Wallace/Monroe/Wilcox

What was T-Mac thinking signing there? And what were they thinking signing him? Joe Dumars has lost all sense of direction he really has think about it. He trades Billups to give Stuckey his shot then signs Ben Gordon who is another undersized 2 guard. Now they’re still stuck with Rip and Prince, and Daye is looking like a player and they go out and get T-Mac….?…..What is going on in the motor city? And Daye and Monroe is who I would build around if I were them.

he was virtually free, deal of the century. They should use him and not abuse him. Only off the bench and in late game situations where he is deadly.

get something for prince by deadline. trade hamilton for anything that frees up cap space(if they get a willing partner), try the same with charlie v and b gordon. make good draft choices. right now i am satisfied with a few players on this team. keep stuckey(if u finally realize he is a 2), daye, jerebko, and monroe. that is your group to build around. dont take players that will eat up cap soace or are old. tmac was a steal but why does detroit need him, if i was detroit i would want to be horrible to get a top 5 pick in the draft. draft kanter or irving assuming they dont get the number 1 pick and just build through the draft. detroit is going to be in this hole for atleast 3 more seasons, sorry detroit but dumars has put you in a bad spot. but dont panic, dont trade away draft picks like ny. trade prince, hamilton, charlie v and b gordon when and if u can and take back young role players and picks.
