Makes you wonder how honest the NBA is about their losses

If this is true then it’s not the players that are money hungry this time around.  I’ve always thought that since people watch basketball for the players, not the gms or coaches or what have you, the players should get most of the money.  I’ve never understood the concept of the owner’s locking out the players when the players are the actual commodity.  Basically rich men get richer off of other people’s work, welcome to America.

This has given me a headache. I just want to watch basketball.

You don’t really know what to believe to be honest. The owners won’t even open up their books. We have no idea how much they’re making and what they’re spending it on. That’s frustrating to me. Everybody and their mom’s could look up a player’s salary and wince at some of them, but nobody can look at how much the owners are making and what they’re spending it on.

I just hope they get an honest and unbiased deal done that helps the league. Tweaks do need to be made in a lot of areas. I don’t understand why these people aren’t working everyday to get this done. At the end of the day, the fans lose out and they’re the ones who are spending their money to come to the games, spend hundreds to watch games on NBATV, buy merchandise, etc.
