xbadgerhustlerParticipantfound this on truehoop:
http://www.blazersedge.com/2009/8/9/982365/the-journey-of-andre-miller-point
if andre can bring the same improvement he helped facilitate in Denver and Philly, Portland will challenge for the top seed in the playoffs…

xbadgerhustlerParticipanttake it for what it’s worth… it’s a good article nonetheless. I didn’t know much about miller before that article

Michael.S.Participanti see , it’s about how he is very undervalued and overshadowed

j1232eParticipantthe dude carried utah to the national championship game only to lose to kentucky. If I remember right i think he also has 2 triple doubles in that tournament.

JNixonParticipantI think Portland gets to the Western Conference Finals with Miller.

llperezI might put them 3rd right now in the west just barley ahead of Denver and Dallas. But I think the Spurs will be stronger next year with Ginobli back and adding RJ as well as the continued development of guys like Bonner, Mason and Hill. Throw in two of the best players in the league in Duncan and Parker. And the Lakers should clearly be the favorites right now. So that leaves Portland battling it out with Denver and Dallas for third.

JNixonParticipantI keep forgetting about San Antonio…they will be in the mix as well

xbadgerhustlerParticipantI think Miller will have bigger impact on everyone else on his new team… relative to RJ… I mean RJ certainly gives them another player, but does he make anyone else better?

Michael.S.ParticipantNo RJ doesn’t make anyone else better, and everyone forgets Andre Miller is a good scorer, he can ive you 13-15 a night

xbadgerhustlerParticipantI’m just more thinking what he brings in practice… the impact of his always being in the film room~ that’s the kind of guy you want your players looking up to. I think BRoy could be in for another big improvement this year if he can get the most outta his new PG (mentally)

Michael.S.Participantoh definitely, i think he can make a Billups-esque impact on the Blazers and have a big impact on Roy like the huge impact Billups had on Melo
