aamir543ParticipantJust saw this on the Twitter section of Hoopshype, haven’t even read the article yet, not sure how reliable this source is, but apparently Rasheed Wallace is headed to Laker Land.

aamir543ParticipantApparently he’s gotten himself in the best shape he’s been in in years, and the lakers think he can help.
At first this seemed a bit odd, but the Lakers are paper thin as far as depth goes, and I don’t think he will have a huge impact, but hey, stranger things have happened, and we all know what an in-shape and motivated Rasheed Wallace can do, even at this advanced age.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantAt the very very least he’ll add experience, toughness, size, and length to a much needed Laker bench.
At most, he can be the big man they’ve been looking for and can stretch the floor as well as defend very well off the bench.

aamir543Participant^I agree, I don’t see him being much more than a guy with size, toughness, and just camping around at the Three Point line. And even though he got motivated for the Playoffs in that last season in Boston, I think we forget that for a majority of the season he was just chucking up three pointers at a record pace, and shooting them at a very low percentage. He averaged 3.7 Three Point attempts in 22 minutes a game and shot at 28%. Yikes.

IndianaBasketballParticipantDepends on how in shape he is… I like the pick up though. He’s an upgrade over Murphy and McRoberts, that’s for sure…

JunkYardDogParticipant@ aamir : "Apparently he’s gotten himself in the best shape he’s been in in years"….
I don’t buy that kind of info…..
how may times do we hear that "in the best shape in years" from a player trying a comeback ??? …. and it has never been effective at the end (I don’t see any successfull example, if you have….)

aamir543Participant^That’s why I said "Apparantly".
Apparantly implies that the speaker is a bit suspicious about the info themselves, not that they absolutly believe it.

M-DYMESParticipantNow just bring in A.I., Jason Williams, Peja, Shaq, Yao, B-Roy. 1 last try for old times sake.

M-DYMESParticipant"Apparently" is one of the most underrated words in the English language.
