boshjonesfordParticipantDoes this make sence for both sides?
Minasoata Gives
2nd Pick + 18th pick + Jonny Flynn
Toronto Gives
5th Pick + Ed davis + Solomon Alabi + second round
Reasoning
Ed Davis had an very rookie year with Toronto and can play well beside Love as one has stranth and offence while the other has defence/length (a nice compliment) + Alabi can provide adiional size + Flynn hasent performed too well in Minasota and is despensable due to the fact that they have Rubio + it seems like T-Wolves want to trade the 2nd (Williams is too similer to Beasley + they picked johnson a SF last year) + Mini could use the 5th pick to draft a sg (Brandon Knight or Alec Burks or B
Toronto could wouldnt mind getting rid of Ed Davis as he is similer to amir johnson (who is also pretty young) + Raptors could use the second pick to draft Derrek Williams to play the SF position (he compliments Bargnani’s poor rebounding) + Raptors could use the 18th pick to pick a big to replace ED ( Jordon Williams/ Keneth Faried) + BC likes jonny flynn (last years draft rumors + midseason trade rumors)/ he will fit nicely in torontos fast paced system
I dont know, it makes sence to me but as a raptors fan i might be biest what do u think?

GlenTaylorSucksParticipantThe Wolves already have Kevin Love at the PF; Ed Davis would be useless in Minny. We’d love to be rid of Flynn, I think they’d like to pry an SG or a veteran for him.

thparadoxParticipantNo idea why the raptors want Flynn over Ed Davis anyway… Ed Davis clearly looks like the better prospect at this point.

thparadoxParticipantAlso, Ed Davis is clearly a PF, not a center.

HitsterParticipantI cannot think of any way a trade could be done between these two teams to benefit the T-Wolves involving the 5th and 2nd picks. Even if Toronto parted with one of their top two players then they would not make the T-Wolves any better but with David Kahn’s logic who knows what can happen?

kobyzParticipantsurprisingly, not that bad of idea, Ed Davis although he’s better than Amir Johnson, keeping both it’s not the most benefit thing to do as they are same type of players with Amir Johnson hold a big long contract, Ed Davis will give Minni nice partner for Love upfront with his mobility, quickness, defense and potential, i also love the idea of getting Alec Burks, a SG with great potential, somthing Minni really need as they very thin at that position and can use a SG who create offense.
Toronto could draft Enes Kanter to get a true force inside and to make a balanced, talented frontcourt with combination of Enes Kanter, Amir Johnson and Bargnani.
i would do some change to this trade, Rubio instead of the 18th pick + Jonny Flynn and maybe will throw Jerryd Bayless to the side of Minni. Rubio will give Toronto a PG who they very desire on.

Toronto16ParticipantWow, this would set the Rapors franchise back a few years, not to mention making Bryan Colangelo public enemy #1 in Toronto.

NashyMingParticipantI wouldn’t trade away Ed Davis just to move up 3 spots. Flynn is worse than Bayless so no point in getting him.

spmcisParticipantI dont’ see why Raptors do the trade.
They already have Calderon and Bayless at PG and at this point it’s not clear if Flynn is even better than Bayless.
And Ed Davis is too good prospect to give up this early.
Also Derrick Williams? Is he 3 or 4?
Not sure if he is a good fit for Toronto
