AusBobParticipantIF Murry does not land with the 76ers and fall past the Wolves at 5, do the Raptors move up to grab him in case another team does?

Hype MachineTheres a lot of Rumors flying around about Jamal Murray going #1 on my twitter account from very reputable sources. What have you guys heard?
The Sixers Vice President of Player Operations even said so himself.
And with the Ben Simmons and Dario Saric stand-offs taking place, its really hard to separate all the smoke and mirrors going on from accurate information.
But Id rather just deal with facts at this stage.
I like Murray as a prospect so much that I wouldnt blame anyone for taking him but I really doubt he falls to 6. If the Raptors have the means to make it happen then go ahead. However I think Thon Maker and Jonas V would make a great frontcourt tandem if they keep their pick.

Bankroll PJParticipantI think the Raptors are content with their guard play with Lowry, DeRozan (who I think will re-sign), and Cory Joseph.
However, I would LOVE to see the Bucks trade up for Murray if he falls past 5. If they trade their own pick, Monroe, and one of their younger players, I think it could happen. After that they should try to make a run at Dwight Howard in free agency.

AusBobParticipantBen is going #1 without a doubt. Murry may land in Philly via the third pick, with Philly trading J.Okafor the Celtics 3rd pick. I see it possibly happening with both sides gaining from that trade. Only thing that may knock that off would be Bender’s strong showing in workouts which I also believe that may happen. Then someother team comes into play for that 3rd pick trade, maybe Boston may pull the trigger.

NBAjunkie81Participantpick for the Already Strong Raptors……….. Marquis Chriss is super athletic……. a powerful, explosive Leaper…….
Not sure if Chriss will fall all the way to #9………. but he would make an immediate impact of the Conference’s 2nd best team…….

Evan_MilbergParticipantI think Toronto is fine staying where they are. They need an eventual replacement for Scola, and I think any of the talented PFs that will be available at 9 would be worth looking at. I think their best case scenario is Ellenson falling to them at 9, but I think they’d be fine taking Davis or Chriss.

Jackson DavisParticipantMy opinion on what the Raptors board should look like in no particular order after Bender:
1.Bender (if they can trade up with some combonation of either this years 2 picks or next years 2 picks and one of the young prospects)
2. Chriss
3. Ellenson
4. Deyonta Davis
5. LabassiereOne of these 5 should be available at 9 assuming Simmons/Ingram/Dunn/Murray go in the top 9 as well.
