Knicksboy34ParticipantSimple Question : Where do you rank this draft? I used this
Talent 5/10 ( Talent pool. Heavy Trade down draft?)
Superstars 3/10 ( How many predicted superstars)
Draft Depth 4/10 (Depth. How many can contribute early?)
Role Players 5/10 (amount of predicted role players)
Recent Drafts 5/10 (against the past 5 seasons)Overall 22/50
Tell me your ranking…

j1232eParticipantgive it at least 3 years before we know how many busts, role players, allstars, superstars. Way to early to be predicting the future.

llperezyou give this draft 8/10 in comparison with recent drafts? Personally, I think this is the weakest draft since 2000 or 2001, whichever one KMart went first in.
Outside of Griffin, there are just no gaurantees. I think this draft is no where close to last years. Of course I could be wrong, but I have read numerous articles that have called it one of the worst in the last decade. So I’m curious why you think it looks a lot stronger then the recent drafts?

Knicksboy34ParticipantOk..
Depth is 2 things…compared to recent drafts and how many can contribute early

gatorheelsParticipantThis draft has at least 7 future starting PGs. Last years draft had better big men but this year is loaded with point guards so it is hard to compare. I think Thabeet will be a legit starting Center which is hard to find. There are some unbelievable shooters in this draft…Curry, Ellington, Meeks, McClinton, Thornton etc.. Daye is also a very rare prospect. How often do you see some 6’10” shoot 43% from 3pt? This draft is super deep, many players taken in the 2nd round will stay in the nba for a long time. Not to mention the international prospects look good too…Claver, Casspi, Jerebko all have unique skills. If guys like Powe & Big Baby can make it in the league then I don’t see why guys like Carroll, Adrien, Lyons, Blair can’t make a pretty big impact. This is just a summary of what I see.

gatorheelsParticipantI’m confused….if depth means how deep is this draft then I would say 9/10 but if depth means how many players can contribute early I would say 4/10
Knicksboy…explain your ranking system better
I’m just going to assume depth means how deep is the draft…in other words….will there be good players in the 2nd round
