By the time Yao Ming plays his first game this year (assuming he does), will the Rockets be in contention for a playoff spot? i don’t think so, their lack of height will be exploited on them. by the time Yao comes back, i think they will at best be at the 10th seed.
If the Kings get the number 1 pick for the 2010 draft, will they use it to draft John Wall? i think they’ll trade him for value, especially if Tyreke Evans plays well running the point this year. if not, i think they’ll draft Favors.
If the New Jersey Nets move to Brooklyn in 2010, will Lebron James head over there as well? nope he’s staying in cleveland.

If A.I goes to the Grizzles, which players (if any) will average over 20 PPG this year? Um…Mayo. Randolph, A.I, and Gay will all be like between 16-19 Points. One of them might break through to get to 20 PPG

By the time Yao Ming plays his first game this year (assuming he does), will the Rockets be in contention for a playoff spot? Yes, but as a fan, I don’t think we should rush him back…and as a fan, I’m biased about being in contention, but I do think we can make some noise if other teams struggle (Basically the rest of the Pacific division)

how many good years for nash-3, he doesn’t rely on athleticism as much as most others, so he should be able to produce for 3 more years based on skill.

pacific, i think, will go down with the suns in second, even though the clippers have a lot of talent. Let’s be realistic though, Baron is not going to be healthy for 82, probably not even for 62, and as a TWolves fan, I can honestly say that no team will win a lot of games with Bassy as the starting PG.
I think that should be an interesting battle, and could possibly be for the 7 or 8 seed. I like Dallas, SA, Port, Denver, LAL, and Utah to finish ahead of the rest of the pacific division.
I think GSW has an outside chance of making the playoffs, depending on the rest of their offseason, and depending on Curry’s adjustment to playing PG full-time. I can’t take a rookie PG very seriously, especially a guy who played a LOT off the ball in college- at Davidson, no less. It’ll be interesting to see who gets dealt and who stays.
I also think OKC has an outside chance of stealing the 7 or 8. Kevin Durant took a big step forward from his rookie to his soph year, and if he can continue to improve, even if it’s not adding another 5 ppg, but just playing better defense, and improving those % a little bit more (if he improves his 3FG% even more it’s gonna be lights out on the NBA soon for that guy) Thunder has a legit chance. I also think if Westbrook can take the same leap from his rookie to his soph year, that team could be scary to stop.

xbadgerhustlerParticipantIt surprises me that so many are saying sessions… kahn came out and said that he wants to be the best team at DEVELOPING its young players. I understand that Sessions is also relatively young, but I don’t think you take Flynn with the 6th pick if you think that a guy like Sessions is better than him. And who ever said they are paying Sessions ‘Starters’ money… 4 million? really? Kirk Hinrich makes 10 mill/yr… Andre Miller just got 6 mill/yr and he’s OLD.
Flynn is Kahn’s prize. I think he told Rubio that he’d be the #1 PG if he came, but once he decided against it, he declared Flynn the #1. I don’t think that changes with the signing of the Bucks ex-back up PG
