steviechillzParticipantHow does Brain Shaw not start this guy? He’s got good length for a SF, can shoot the ball, has a decent handle, can rebound very well for how skinny he is, and has loads of potential. Shaw even said himself he could evenutally be a Paul George type player.
The Nuggets also have almost little to no chacne of making the playoffs and Wilson Chandler to me, is the only other SF I would start over Miller. The season is lost, this is where a coach needs to test different players and different lineups. See who needs to be part of the future and why…Are you telling me your playing guys like Evan Fourier, but not Q???
Am I the only one that is suprised Shaw doesn’t use him? Bc if he cant get minutes on this team…where will he get the minutes? I guess the bucks and 76ers, but I really think Miller has the ablity to be special in this league and might have left college too early, and now he’s with a bad coach and not given a real chance to show what he has.

The Scare Crow RisesParticipantis he worth more than the 39th pick at this point in his career, if so I’d love Sam Hinkie to trade the 39th pick to see what he’s got to offer a team at SF

steviechillzParticipanti guess i shoulda been more specific, dude needs more minutes. I mean some games he gets 3 others, like the past few games hes gotten 20 or so…with Danillo and Chandler hurt, I just dont get why he plays other players over him. This is why Andre Miller left.

Pack AttackParticipantWell the numbers say he can’t shoot yet, so there’s that. But I’d like to see him on a new team as well. He’s got good potential despite tearing an ACL a few years ago.

OhCanada-ParticipantI used to think Miller had the abillity to be special in the NBA, and the n I watched him play and realized "special" is the wrong word. Tearing your ACL can really mess with your head and it seems as if that injury ruined Millers confidnce and hurt his athletisism.
I havent seen him play much since Baylor but I just remember a dribble happy uncofident shothappy mass of talent.

OhCanada-ParticipantI agree. There arent many players with elite athletisism, just a few thats what makes them elite.

JoeWolf1They like him in Denver, they started him at the beginning of the year, and he just wasn’t ready. They’re doing the same thing again now that they’re out of playoff contention, and he’s still not ready.
Quincey does have a nice well rounded game, and he was one of the longest players in his draft class, still, he gets pushed around a lot and isn’t that tough yet. He’s an okay shot, but it’s not good enough to translate in game. Post ASG since his minutes have gotten bumped him his 3 pt percentage is barely over 20, and although he’s not really a high mistake player, he’s just not productive. He’s prone to those 20 minute 2 point 3 rebound lines.
He’s only 21 and Denver seems to want to develop him, but i don’t think Miller is a future star or anything. Denver has him under contract for next season, and they clearly want to keep him, but IMO he needs to find a way to produce at a higher level next year. He could be a nice role player or starter, but if he doesn’t do enough to warrant a 2nd contract that is of the multi year variety, he risks being bumped around as a journeyman.
