What players in this years draft class are you most excited to see play next season?

Most excited to see Irving, Walker & the euro’s: Kanter, Bismack, Donatas (mainly because I haven’t seen them play much).

My votes on Derrick Williams, just think he will adjust the best right off the start.

Might be cliche but I’m going to say Bismack Biyombo, there was just so much hype from one game (Nike Hoop Summit), literally went from an unknown to a lottery pick.

This is a tough one because there isn’t much star power in this draft but I feel like Kyrie Irving will be the first to make an All-Star team, especially if he goes to Cleveland like expected, lots of minutes and time to grow for him. 

– Which rookie will have the best NBA career?

Also a tough question but I’m going to say on terms of longevity while putting up decent numbers I’m going to say Derrick Williams. Kemba Walker came to mind too, both are such great competitors. 

– Who will be the biggest surprize in this years draft class?

I’m going to go with someone in picked late like a Josh Selby, he’s tested well at the combine and I think he’ll have a good rookie season depending on which team takes him.

I think the duo that Cleveland picks will have the biggest impact on their team. Either way there getting a point guard but it will be interesting to see who they use with the 4th pick.

Chris Singleton will be the best defensive rookie I think, teams need perimeter stoppers and I think he can help out any team he goes to. The fact he can defend multiple positions make him a unique prospect for this draft.

Jimmer Fredette- uncanny range on his J but how will be adjust to speed of the NBA? he is alot quicker than ppl give him credit so it will be interesting to watch when he finally has to play some D this year

this year JaJuan Johnson- sure hes still thin but if he lands with a championship caliber team he can step right in he has a great jumper, can run the floor, block shots, and most importantly has a winner’s mentality

long-term DeAndre Liggins- great defensively and can develop into a more consistent 3pt shooter ala Arron Afflalo

also Tristan Thompson- he can out too early but has a high motor ability to add more weight and runs the floor like a deer

Im saying Biyombo too. I keep hearing the 77 wingspan and his athleticism. The thing is, I also hear how his offense stinks and his hands are questionable. I dont care how good your defense is, hes a 69 center with no offensive game which doesnt make you a good player in the NBASounds like Sene or Adonyl Foyle

The UGA guys (Leslie and Thompkins), I’ve been following both of them since they were in HS and they are good people too.

What players in this years draft class are you most excited to see play next season?

Derrick Williams and Kyrie Irving. I want to see if Williams can successfully make the transition to SF and if irving is as good as advertised.

Who will win rookie of the year?

I will go with Kyrie Irving.  whether he ends up in Cleveland or Minnesota, i think he will be put in position to put up decent numbers.

I’d say Kawhi Leonard. He very raw offensively as a perimeter player and i keep hearing Gerald Wallace comparisons but he isn’t near the athlete that wallace is and he hasn’t yet proven to be a great perimeter defender.

I think i will go with Derrick willimas.  I think his explosive style of play will get him alot of allstar votes from fans.

Once again Kyrie Irving. It hard to find any significant hole in his game, he seems to have all the tools to become an elite PG.

– Who will be the biggest surprize in this years draft class?

Although he high on draft boards i think alec Burks will be the biggest surprise. I think should be a top five pick, and i definitely think he will be one of the top five players out of this draft class five years from now. If he can gain more consistency with his jumpshot, he should be one of the  premier scorer in the league.

It has to be who ever in up in cleveland, almost half of the roster should be in the D-league.

I have to say Bismack Biyombo, he has great athleticism for his size, nice wing span, and great timing on his shot blocks.

Only 3 first picks of the draft over the past 10 years have won rookie of the year so going with someone who wont be first Enes Kanter

Kawhi Leonard-This guy cant really shoot or score and he is known for his athletic ability but didnt really show it in the combine

Derrick Williams- Dont think he wins rookie of the year but once he gets adjusted to the NBA and learns more scoring moves and could actually come off the dribbe and shoot jumpers he can become the best the fastest

Derrick Williams- Like I said when he learns more scoring moves and off the dribble jump shots he could be a match up nightmare for other teams.

In the loto I go with Jimmer -I think he is underrated and could be like a Nash with the mavs becuase he has the creativeity like Nash does and can shoot the ball

Late first round I got with Tyler Honeycut-He can shoot ,he is athletic,he can pass, and he can defend nuff said 

Second round I got with Jajuan Johson-Gets his blocks , great athlete ,nice jumper , and does have a good little hook shot if he work on that he can be something special

Kemba can really turn around the kings if he goes there because both him and Tyreke like to play point but also like to play off the ball so they could work out a good duo with Cousins and become a good team

Im curious about the European kids and Kanter. I think they are the wildcards on the class. I like Motiejunas, I think people might be overthinking him a little bit. He is a really big, really good scorer. If he falls out of the lotto he is a huge steal.

Enes Kanter. Center is the leagues weakest position, and he is one of the few impact players I see in the draft.

Alec Burks. I feel like he is the guy with the most upside in this class, he can be a legit lead guard I think down the road. I dont know why he isn’t higher, to me he has to be considered a top 5 guy in this class. He is still 19 and Averaged 20 5 and 5.

Right away, Id say Derrick Wlliams. Long Term, I think Williams, Brandon Knight, Burks, Kanter, and Chris Singleton will be the kind of guys you build a good team with.

Chris Singleton. This guy is sooo underrated. He is a guy that can defend 1 to 5 well at the next level, and is the perfect defensive weapon to throw at a Lebron James. His offense is improving, and he is a pretty well rounded player ready to contribute immediately, but still with tons of room to improve. A sure fire top 10 guy to me in the class, he has an NBA position, Body, and skill right now.

Alec Burks and Derrick Williams. I want to see whether Williams can make the transition to the 3 and whether Burks can deliver on his massive potential.

– Who will win rookie of the year? Ricky Rubio. He’ll be handed the keys to the franchise as soon as he walks in and his experienc as a professional will get him there, as he’s probably going to get the most PT of any player drafted based on team needs.

– Who will be the biggest bust?

I’ll go with Marcus Morris. Not a big fan of his and see him as a bit of a tweener, rather than a combo-forward.

– Who will be the first rookies to make it to the All-Star Game?

Burks. Weakness at the SG spot, especially in the East where he seems likely to end up could see him be the first to end up there with PF, SF and PG all but locked up for this generation.

– Which rookie will have the best NBA career?

Tough call, but I’ll go with Rubio again, he’ll be in a great situation in Minnesota and is a pass-first PG on a team with plenty of scoring. If Minnesota can keep this core together they’ll be chasing championships in 4-5 years.

– Who will be the biggest surprize in this years draft class?

Donatas Motiejunas; for some reason his stock has dropped off a whole lot, but I see him being very productive if he’s drafted to fill a team need.

– Which rookie will have the biggest impact on their teams success?

Once again, Rubio, the T’Wolves could make a huge jump with a quality PG in tow, and Rubio might just be that guy. I predict a definite improvement over their record last year and better game management down the stretch will be the reason why. Minny have been close against a lot of good teams but unable to close due to poor decision making by Ridnour to force shots a number of times. With a pass-first mentality, Rubio will find their real closer in Beasley and get them over the hump more often.

– Who will be the best defensive player?

Tristan Thompson; his length, aggression and athleticism will serve him well, and I see him as an excellent post defender right away.

I’m excited to see some of the top college players that I watched this year: Jimmer, Burks, Kemba, Irving, Williams. I’m most interested to see how Jimmer does in the NBA. I think he’s a lock for Utah at #12.

Derrick Williams, his size and athleticism will transition into the NBA right away and he’ll make an immediate impact.

I think for a player to be a bust you have to have a lot of hype or highly rated and in my opinion Kawhi Leonard is rated too high in this yeras draft class. He doesn’t have the greatest potential. 

– Who will be the first rookies to make it to the All-Star Game?

Kyrie Irving and Enes Kanter down the road…I think it will be a while before any of the 2011 rookies make it to an all star game.  

– Which rookie will have the best NBA career?

Kyrie Irving. I really think he’s going to be one of the best true pg’s in the NBA.

I think Kemba is going to shut up some of his critics and be a starting pg in the NBA and have a good career. I also think Burks and Marshon Brooks will be solid shooting guards, and Burks could be an all star in the future.  

– Which rookie will have the biggest impact on their teams success?

I think the Cavs and the Wolves have some very important picks this year that could get both teams back on track. The Cavs have more needs so one player is not necessarily going to turn the franchise around, but I think the Wolves are very close now with the addition of Rubio so I think whoever the Wolves take at #2 will have the biggest impact on thier success. 

And if the Bulls can pick up a scoring guard like Marshon Brooks that could help them out a lot too.

Chris Singleton could be a very valuable player to have on your roster, teams need guys his size to defend the best scorers in the NBA that happen to play his position. – Who will win rookie of the year?  Since we only know where Ricky Rubio will be playing next year, I say Rubio but I aould not be suprised if whoever the Bucks take at #10 wins it this year expecially if it is Burks.

– Who will be the biggest bust?  Tie between Brandon Knight and Jonas Valanciunas.  I dont think Knight will translate to the point guard position in the NBA, and from what I have not been impressed with Jonas, although I have not seen him play too much.

– Who will be the first rookies to make it to the All-Star Game?  Jan Vessly, I think he is the real deal.  Although I would not be suprised if D-will gets adjusted to the NBA faster and makes an all-star game first.

I’m going with my boy Isaiah Thomas, possibly one of the most well rounded players in this draft with skills and athleticism he just lacks height, but that hasn’t stopped Barrea so whoever picks him up is going to have a steal. Andrew Goudelock is a sniper and a lesser known version of Jimmer and probably more athletic. Could be great for a team that needs a scoring spark. He would be a great fit with the Lakers or Bulls.

Josh Shelby, he showed immaturity at Kansas but if me matures he could be a real steal…Iman Shumpert could fall into that same category but he’s even more raw.

To make the all star team, you have to be on a good team, so I am gonna say Brandon Knight, because if the chips fall in the right place, they should be a decent team by 2013.

My dark horse candidate,Donatas, this is a crazy choice but I have seen film of him in games, not just highlights,and for the last 3 years, and if he sures up his D I believe he will have a nice offensive career. Just watch his games and tell me you dont see an extremely talented player ready to show the world what he can do.

For a more realistic choice, Irving, he is the most talented player in this draft

 Kenneth Faried, one season, he will get 10 and 13, or at least something close to it

Kemba, because he is winner, and winners win
