LTrainLG32ParticipantI really think Cory Joesph, Jereme Richmond, and Jordan Williams to name a few could have really benefited from another year or two of College basketball. I understand they want to chase a dream, but is it really worth rushing into the NBA and possibly being out of the league in possibly 2 years? Hopefully they will go to a team where they can be given time to grow and become solid players in the league.

Stojakovicfor3ParticipantNikola Mirotic. The kid said he’s not even thinking about the NBA right now and signed a contract extension through 2016(even though he can opt out) So I don’t know why he entered.

Chilbert arenasParticipantTotally agree with Joseph and Richmond, but Jordan Williams stock isn’t going to increase much more by going back. He’s not going to get any taller or more explosive so why not take advantage for what is known to be a weak draft. I would have liked to see Darius Morris go back to Michigan. I like the kids game and I know he’s probably go in the 1st round but he could use some maturity physically and in the weight room along with refining his offensive game. Also Tristan Thompson. He’s striking while the iron is hot, but he needs a lot of work on his offensive game as well. I would say Tobias Harris and Scotty Hopson but they’re leaving early because of the mess Tennessee is in. Tyler Honeycutt and Malcom Lee would have made UCLA a top 5 team next year in my opinion but I’m on the fence weather they should have returned and if it would have actually helped their stock.

Cardinal_FanParticipantAgree with Chilber Arenas. Jospeh and Richmond with another year under their belts would have been most certainly lock first rounders next year with another college season under their belts. Jordan Williams on the other hand stock probably wouldnt be any higher than it is now and i actually think he’s getting more looks from teams picking in the 1st round then he would next year. I dont think Darius Morris would have been a 1st rounder next year becuz his ceiling as a player isnt as high as some of the other players coming out in which will prolly be a much deeper draft. Tristan Thompson would be 1st round this year or next year imo. Agree with the take on Hopson and Harris. I believe Harris had his mind set on being 1 and done as a high school senior. I think Honeycutt and Lee will look alot better as pros then they did in college due to UCLA slow style of play.

LTrainLG32ParticipantYour opinion on Jordan Williams sounds responsible. I think he needs more polish and get his weight right. Like i said in the first post hopefully he can go to a veteran squad where he can develop and learn from some savvy big men on the team.
