If Greg Oden decided to stay in Ohio State and had a similliar career to so far (injury, a year with injuries slowing him down, and plays great and then gets injured, gets a redshirt to win a title, then get injured again).

Then declares for the 2001 draft where would you take him?

i’m guessing you mean 2010 not 2001 ..lol

franchise type big men are very rare these days and any time you have a chance to get 1 you take him..Unless you have another elite player also in the draft..

The Spurs waited 2 years before David Robinson was able to play for them..if Danny Manning was in the same draft maybe the Spurs would not have taken Robinson number 1 knowing they would have to wait on him 2 years…
