Knicksboy42ParticipantPerfect for Miller. I don’t expect him to be a monster contributer as a rookie, he doesn’t have much of a jumper, and could use some adjusting as a rookie. I think he’ll be much better as a second-year player.

jhbm24ParticipantIf this sites mock draft is right, what if Quincy miller actually fell to the heat? Is that not the perfect player for then besides a big even though I think eddy curry is gna have a solid return next year. He can be what mike miller was suppose to be but better defensively and more athletic. What would that mean for millers career and the heats future?

NCarmean18ParticipantMaybe the Heat should go out and grab another wing player. Hell, Battier performed well but Mike Miller has been struggling. The Heat need role players, and Quincy Miller could definitely be a part of a nice young 2nd-unit duo off of the bench with Norris Cole at the point.
Miami needs a big… That’s obvious. They are a solid center away from a championship, I can feel it. I honestly think the New Orleans Hornets are going to amnesty Emeka Okafor.
He’s a solid center with size who would be a free agent if New Orleans sent him packing. So maybe the Heat draft Quincy Miller and bring in Emeka as their starting center under the mid-level exception?
Who knows with Miami… Let’s just see how they finish the playoffs first.

mikeyvthedonParticipantThe Heat will go for the best player available. With the way Miller just measured out, would be surprised if he fell to them, but he might be an interesting guy to pair next to LeBron. Still, I think the bigs available at the 27 range will do very little to help the Heat.
Maybe a nice stretch 4 with a little girth might be nice, but the Heat should just hope to get a decent contributor, as the odds are there are no PG’s or C’s that are going to come in and do much damage. If Quincy Miller were to be selected by Miami, he would be seeing a lot of time on the pine. Unless he showed consistent NBA three point range, than I doubt he would get much PT at all. I could see Quincy being an interesting 3 man or even a 4 with some added bulk, but his first few years will be developmental.

SpacegrassParticipantHave a feeling they go Center , maybe Festus Ezili? Wonder how much Henry Sims goes up draft boards with his measurements today as well , he is big and long. Question is how did he test athletically?
