JoeWolf1You may not have heard much about this guy, but put him on your radar. Incoming KU freshman Thomas Robinson is an athletic young forward with an extremely high ceiling. At 6’8” and about 220 coming out of high school, he has the frame to add more muscle to an already developed physique. He’s very athletic, but still a little raw, rivals had him at #31. A year learning behind Cole Aldrich, the Morris twins and with Danny Manning helping him develop, this guy is going to make a serious impact in the 2010-2011 college season. A very driven player too with a lot of intensity as well, which is a good sign for development. I’ll admit it i’m a KU fan so there is a little bias, but there is a lot of buzz about this guy outside of Lawrence too,

PaulsJayhawksParticipantHe could end up a starter this year by the end. He will come in and contribute right away on a team built to go deep, will gain a ton of experience this year and push the morris twins.

JoeWolf1I was reading an article too and apparently he has put on 13 pounds of muscle in the past 8 weeks and is up to 233. The rest of the team says he is a beast. You are right, he could possibly beat out one of the Morris twins for a starting spot, although Markeif is apparently up to abound 242 from 215 and Marcus is up to around 230 from 210.

Hoop FreakZParticipantScout.com and Rivals.com both raved about his rebounding ability. I believe scout.com went as far as to say that he can get into the NBA on that ability alone.

Adi JosephI love Robinson. I think in the long run, he’s a small forward who can do a little bit of everything.
Here’s my recap of the Reebok All-American Weekend, featuring commentary on Robinson: http://www.nbadraft.net/node/5347
