Pheonix Suns – Luka Doncic or DeAndre Ayton – These two should be the only two that should in discussion for the number one pick. Suns need a point guard and a big man that can surround Booker and Josh Jackson. Luka could play the point for the Suns because Booker could also handle the rock. Ayton is a big time scorer at the 5 and could bring them a much needed frontcourt/secondary scorer.

Sacromento Kings – Luka Doncic or DeAndre Ayton or Mo Bamba – The Kings are tricky. They do not have much on their roster besides De’Aaron Fox, Buddy Hield, and Bogdon. If Ayton goes no. 1, they may opt to go for Bamba, according to reports that they want a American born big man. I don’t believe it though. Luka can fit perfectly next to Fox at either the three or the two.

Atlanta Hawks – Jarren Jackson or Marvin Bagley or Mo Bamba – They have two promising front court players, Taurean Prince and John Collins. Every other position should be under review. I believe this pick should be towards someone that can play the five on offense and defense. I don’t really like Bagley for this pick. I believe Jackson offers more on both sides of the ball, unlike Bamba and Bagley.

Memphis Grizzlies – Jarren Jackson or Marvin Bagley or Mo Bamba or Michael Porter – The Grizzlies are also tricky. They might want to win right away and go for a player that can help with that with Mike Conley coming back from injury.

Dallas Mavericks – Michael Porter or Mo Bamba or Marvin Bagley – There been reports that Dallas might not take a big because they want to compete right away and go after players like DeAndre Jordan, Julius Randle, or Demarcus Cousins.

Orlando Magic – Trae Young or Trae Young or Trae Young – This is the most logical fit between  a prospect and a team. In previous drafts the Magic focused on defense with the Isaac, Gordon, Oladipo, and Payton picks. Also, with the Serge Ibaka trade and the Biyombo signing. It’s time to get an offensive playmaker that can make others play better. Isaac and Gordon will work better with Payton running the show and starting a new rebuild surrounding those three.

Chicago Bulls – Mo Bamba or Michael Porter Jr or Mikal Porter or Wendell Carter – The Bulls are in a pretty good spot in the draft and should whoever left between Bamba and Porter. Porter seem to like Chicago, he goes to their games and sport their gear. He fits what the Bulls need, a primary scorer to go next to a good to great young trio (Lauri Markkanen, Kris Dunn, and Zach LaVine).

Cleveland Cavs – Collin Sexton or Michael Porter – I don’t believe that Michael Porter will be available, but he’s a guy that they can be LBJ replacement. But, I don’t believe he will be available, so Sexton will be the obvious choice. When LeBron leaves they will need someone that can get buckets, insert in Sexton. He can give be a great piece for the tank job post-LBJ.

New York Knicks – Mikal Bridges or Collin Sexton or Wendell Carter – Knicks are in an interesting situation with the emergence of Trey Burke and the their rookie Frank Ntilikina. They need to a wing and an opposing big that can play next to Kristaps. I believe Wendell makes sense given that he’s solid all around on offense and Kristaps can mask his weaknesses on the defensive end.

Philadelphia 76ers – Mikal Bridges or Zhaire Smith or Lonnie Walker or Shai Gilgeous-Alexander or Kevin Knox – During the playoff series against Boston their weaknesses have been exposed, they didn’t have enough guys that can create seperation. I believe Fultz will be a key player for the upcoming seasons. Lonnie Walker and Shai Alexander are both guys that can create their own shot and can also play defense. Zhire Smith and Kevin Knox are the better prospects of the bunch that offers potential as athletic wings that can shoot.

Charlotte Hornets – Shai Gilgeous-Alexander or Zhaire Smith or Miles Bridges or Wendell Carter. No one really knows what the Hornets going to do. Malik Monk showed flashes in the end of the season, showcasing he could be their future point guard. They might go full rebuild, so Zhaire Smith could be an interesting potential pick. If they want to stay on course, Wendell Carter or Miles Bridges should be the pick.

Los Angeles Clippers – Shai Gilgeous-Alexander or Zhaire Smith or Wendell Carter or Kevin Knox – The Clippers have two picks in the first round and could be use a full rebuild job with DeAndre Jordan scheduled to hit open market. I, personally, believe Shai Alexander is the best point guard prospect. So if he’s available, take him. And they should go BPA with the other pick between Smith, Carter and Bridges.

Denver Nuggets – Miles Bridges or Lonnie Walker or Robert Williams – The Nuggets don’t have many wholes on their team so they can really choose anyone that’s there at 14. Bridges seems to be the perfect pick given that the Nuggets have Gary Harris and Jamal Murray in the backcourt and have Nikola Jokic and Paul Millsap in the frontcourt. Getting a combo forward with potential is a good get at 14.

I think the Knicks go Trae Young, Porter or Kevin Knox if they are there, They want the BPA and want a potential star because Zing might not be ready for the season. And Zing is having problems with upper management so they need to take a future potential star.

The Knicks need an overactive small forward who could play the four if Porzingis don’t come back by the beginning of the season, I had Knox but I find his workout footage pretty lazy and may prefer Miles Bridges who is more athletic and intense.

or maybe Sexton b/c I see French Frank as more of a Marcus Smart defensive perimeter specialist (which is incredibly valuable) but they may want to go w/ a Center to off set Porzingus Def weakness & really give his body a break. Wendell Carter is a Really good all around NBA ready Center who would fit Perfectly w/ the Unicorn & quality Bigs are Really tough to get your hands on

Orlando is closer than people realize – they need perimeter help so Young is prob the best fit but if I’m Orlando & they are really solid at the 3, 4 & 5 positions w/ Vucevik, Gordon & Isaac but if I’m Orlando I really take a DEEP look at some of the other guards & Project Long Term not short term – Lonnie Young is a 6’4” combo guard who can really shoot & penetrate – if he stayed in school he could have been a Top pick in 2019, Zhaire Smith is another 6’4” freak athlete, SGA is another guy who at 6’6” looks great but Long term after Development – Don’t be afraid to trade Down – I’m hearing a few teams might want to trade up to #6 to get Porter Jr (If Available) – A team like Phila has Two 1st Rnd picks & a Ton of future picks & young players who can’t break thru – maybe trade down & get the #10 & #26 picks Plus one or two of Phila’s Euro Stashes – or get a couple teams in a bidding war – point is becareful picking the undersized Young just for Fit (How Crazy is it that Phila which could win 60 games next year even Without singing a Max Free Agent has Another Lottery pick!?!?!)

I’m reading on Twitter (Dime A Roock Source) that neither Sacramento or Atlanta is interested in Doncic so there could be some trade opportunities. I believe Phoenix takes Ayton – his upside is just Too great.

But teams like Sacramento or Atlanta could trade out if another team Luvs Doncic & wants to leap frog Memphis who would Luv to land Doncic. But if they stay I take Porter or Bagley – after Ayton these are two players w/ potential Star talent – too good to pass up IMHO

Anyway here’s how I think it shakes out excluding potential trades

    1.Ayton   2.Porter   3.Bagley   4.Doncic   5.Bamba   6.Young   7.Jackson   8.Sexton   9.Carter  10.Bridges (Nova)

Very good lottery mock so +1 from me.

Dallas is a team we haven’t heard or discussed that much as regards draft hype but with a very experienced GM and Coach, it will be interesting to see which way they go. A lot will depend on who goes in the top 4 of course. But they could honestly go either way – a couple out of JJ, Carter and Bamba should be available. All would be able to be slotted in.

I have a hunch if Bamba is still on board they my have a very good look on him as Dallas knows that successful teams often need a good defensive anchor.

Trae could be a total wildcard for them. They have Smith in situ but may feel in todays smallball, fast break NBA a combo of Trae and Smith is too good to pass over.

    Spot on for Chicago.

Ideal scenario would be Mo falling to them.

Swing for the fences with Porter.

Basically just need a point guard to go top 6 and they’ll end up with either guy.

Bulls settle for Mikal if Trae and Sexton are still left on the board.
