SlickBouncePassParticipantJahlil surprised with his dribbling.. Could beat people off the dribble, and then with his back to the basket Zeller and Sullinger were kind of helpless. That was seriosuly impressive as a rookie. Awesome watching Boston going to double teaming him in his first game.
But with that skill set, and his tendency to move out to 17 feet, do you all think the best setup would be to have him play the 4, with Embiid potentially at Center?
Okafor was def gassed in the 1st quarter, but so was Sullinger pretty quickly.
Noel can’t be overlooked either, he was solid defensively, it was awesome watching the two bigs in the first quarter altering Boston’s shots. Boston literally was afraid to attack the rim, their starters at least.
Boston’s guards are average except for Isiah Thomas, he’s solid, kinda like Okafor, keeps defenders off balance.
Sixers desperately need a PG and a swingman. Fortunately Lakers lost, but they look decent. Kendall Marshall looks like he’s gonna be a leader on this team.
I think Ben Simmons will be a perfect fit to orchestrate this offense. Simmons and Murray 2016!!
With everyone healthy in 2016, we’re a playoff team.

Rip256Truth be told, sixers could easily be playing with Simmons in 12 mths time.
Its in the hands of the lottery gods.
I dump heaps of **** on Philly, but if they landed Simmons and say…Murray. And both turn into beasts…
Philly would be officially back in business.

barbabodomParticipantBesides Ben Simmons, Dunn would be perfect for the 76ers

NBAjunkie81ParticipantDunn is an upper classman – Very mature… If they do get Simmons, I know it would be very hard to pass on Jamal Murray – but I could see them taking Ingram instead w/ that Lakers pick & plugging him in at SF & then grabbing Dunn w/ one of the other two first rounders they have later in round one….
It sounds insane that they would add Embiid & Saric to a line up w/ that much low post talent so a PG who is mature, Not worried about his own stats but can hit an open jumper here & there (they have Stauskus at the 2 spot, so they have a shooter) but understands that w/ that line-up they need to Pound the ball into the Post…
Boston was helpless in that 1st quarter before Stevens adjusted & exploited those awful guards… But they looked like they could not believe what was happening & the crowd was quiet as well… I was truly taken back by how much better Okafor & Noel were than I realized….
