d-ravParticipantIt’s on now!!! With Bosh finally putting pen to paper signing with the Heat, will the combo of Wade and Bosh, 2 of his good friends, be too much for Bron ignore? Given his burning intent on wanting to win now, should the Heat be the raging favorites to secure his services? In my opinion, since the Cavs have no flexibility to improve their current roster, and teams showing legit interest in him (Knicks, Bulls, Nets) have nowhere near the caliber of MEGA stars at the Heat’s disposal, LBJ has HEAT written all over him.
Only problem now though, is how on earth do you compliment those type of players (roster wise)?0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/07/2010 - 4:51am #348094

yellowdunkerParticipantu sign 9 players who dont mean jack s**t and then u pass the ball to three players only….lol no but seriously i think your right i think they scared LeBron out of cavs knowing he gotta get through orlando and dwight howard miami and wade and bosh and bulls rose and proably boozer if he goes to miami pat riley is gonna really need to do some work to find some low budget players to compliment those three.

KevinDurantRocksParticipantNot worried about the players except for at center position they have to get some one good there.

KevinDurantRocksParticipantRondo and Perkins and the rest of Bostons bench weren’t very good but with guidance and a year of practice they got alot better

KevinDurantRocksParticipantFor Beasely? is Chalmers good enough to build around? Which veterans would come to the team for cheap and is there any euro prospect or d league prospect that would fit in the system
personally i think they should go get Josh Heytvelt he could ball it up for cheap

NYK2010ParticipantThat team will have no depth though might not need any.
They can keep Joel Anthony and just need a PG.
Still will all 3 take less to play together, it doesn’t seem likely though.
If he passes on Miami, really he has to decide between Knicks and Bulls the Nets have some talent but will he stay in Newark for 2 years and play with so many young players.
The Cavs can’t really acquire much talent in trades 11 million in expiring contracts between 4 players won’t get it done.0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/07/2010 - 7:21am #348155

bobforteParticipantHeytvelt signed a deal with Rome, he can’t go to the NBA until next year.

OllstarParticipantThis team would need some spot up shooters. A defensive big. A combo guard off the bench. A PG defender who stays honest and doesn’t cheat. Alot of one dimensional players for minimum salary are out there. Wade and LBJ are gonna be on the ball all the time so no need for a good point just one who can shoot and defend his position. Bosh isn’t the best post defender and cant do the gritty garbage work. so they’ll need a big who doesnt need touches cause Bosh will get alot of post plays but will be active on the glass and defense. Wade and LBJ aren’t the best threats from deep so to create space youll need a guy to stretch the d.
pg- 3pt threat honest d
sg- wade
sf- james
pf- bosh
c- gritty banger
6- combo guard0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/07/2010 - 9:18am #348220

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantLet’s be serious, basketball is about a 6-7 man rotation.
’10 Lakers: Fisher, Bryant, Artest, Gasol, Bynum, Odom, Brown
’08 Celtics: Rondo, Allen, Pierce, Garnett, Perkins, Brown, Posey
’07 Spurs: Parker, Ginobili, Bowen, Duncan, Elson, Oberto, Finley
’06 Heat: Williams, Wade, Walker, Haslem, O’Neal, Mourning, Posey, Payton0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/07/2010 - 9:20am #348222

madcabParticipantPG-Mario Chalmers
SG-D Wade
SF-LBJ
PF-CB4
C- SHAQ (He will chase more rings for less money)Bench
Bease, J Anthony, Pittman, C Arroyo, and they should still have a full MLE they could go out and get someone like Ray Allen,
And i might get docked for this, but anyone think Allen Iverson could come off the bench??? He says he is ready to play at any capacity now.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantYeah he does cheat too much, but when you have Wade help side and Shaq down low, you’re man can get away a couple of times.
Plus cheating too much eventually turns you into a good pick pocket.. I.E. Rajon Rondo
