TheLastWordParticipantNot bad but Brad Beal could probably average 13 points in his sleep. Kendall Marshall is not averaging 8 assists, Barnes will play point forward on half their posessions probably.

akhan786Participant@TheLastWord Kendall Marshall averaged 8 assists per game through the last half of the season after he was handed the starting job….I think he’ll average 8 assists if not more.

lalailaParticipantvery very nice..offcourse there are a couple where i would change something but it’s a good job.
i love you see talent in Quincy(im a big Perry fan but..) i think Q will lead the team in scoring, will be #1 option and overall because of his killer’s instict he will get drafted higher..
i like 15/5/5 for Wroten, that’s exactly the numbers who could make him lottery pick but i guess because of alot of unfinished work he will be back and become top5 pick in ’13 draft.
and maybe i would take 3points from Jones and add it to Kidd-G, im a big believer in him

iguapops420ParticipantMarshall will get 8 apg no doubt IMO. Don’t know where this falacy of Barnes playing point forward has come from. Just because he went to the CP3 skills camp does Not mean he’s coming back Scottie Pippen. I just wish people would realize who this guy is. Not a franchise talent, but a terrific player no less. He has a LOT of Luol Deng in his game IMO. Best Case scenario is Mashburn and that to me is QUITE farfetched. Mash was a STUD.
Gilchrist wil probably have a higher apg total and I think Perry Jones is going to surprise a lot of people this year with some incredible versatility and consistency. Could show some KG type game. Anthony Davis’ numbers are going to be lower than people expect i think as he’s going to be forced into playing center or 6th man IMO.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipant"Harrison Barnes: 18,2 ppg 6,1 rpg 2,1 apg 1 spg 0,5 bpg"
He averaged 19 PPG once Kendall Marshall was put into the starting lineup. It is going to be hard for me to believe that with those two coming back that there won’t be similar results in meaningful games, but UNC is going to be in a lot of blowout wins."Perry Jones: 16,4 ppg 8,2 rpg 1,8 apg 0,8 spg 1,5 bpg"
It is hard to read anything into that Canadian trip. He was able to overwhelm smaller opponents last year. It was the teams with size that saw him disappear. It is possible he breaks out.
"Jared Sullinger: 20,3 ppg 11 rpg 1,5 apg 1,2 spg 0,8 bpg"
It is hard to go up from where he was (17-10) unless OSU tries to pad his numbers when they are crushing teams. They didn’t do it last year, it is hard to see it happening this year."Terrence Jones: 16,8 ppg 8,4 rpg 2 apg 1,2 spg 1,8 bpg
Anthony Davis: 15,6 ppg 8,6 rpg 1,3 apg 1,1 spg 1,6 bpg

You have five guys (three of whom are freshmen) combining to make up just about if not exceeding the entire UK team averages in points, rebounds, assists, steal, and blocks for last year. Oh, and Darius Miller has started 69 of the past 78 games for Kentucky. He played 31 minutes per and averaged 11 points per game last year. He isn’t getting buried. He has been playing over the Calipari recruits for the past two years.
Your projections for those five guys: 69.3 PPG, 29.5 RPG, 13.2 APG, 6.1 SPG, 4.9 BPG
2010-11: 74.9 PPG, 37.4 RPG, 12.7 APG, 5.6 SPG, 6.3 BPG
2009-10: 79.3, 41.7 RPG, 15.1 APG, 7.3 SPG, 7.2 BPG"James McAdoo: 10,1 ppg 5,4 rpg 1 apg 0,6 spg 1,2 bpg"
Where is he going to play? I can read what everyone who watches AAU write about him, but he is going to a frontline that has Barnes, Henson, and Zeller. Other than blowouts, there are 20 minutes for him."Jeremy Lamb: 16,2 ppg 5,2 rpg 2,8 apg 1,6 spg 0,8 bpg"
I am going way over. I think he is going to have an Evan Turner-type season where he is going to be around 20PPG, 7+ RPG, and 4-5 APG."C.J Leslie: 16 ppg 9,2 rpg 1,4 apg 1,2 spg 2,8 bpg"
He didn’t do anything well as a freshman. The idea he would make a leap sans Harrow seems unlikely to me."Adonis Thomas: 13,1 ppg 5,2 rpg 1,5 apg 1,1 spg 0,6 bpg"
Witherspoon, Black, Thomas, Simpson, and Hall. I don’t see the minutes for those numbers."Austin Rivers: 20,3 ppg 4,5 rpg 2,8 apg 1,2 spg 0,4 bpg"
I was interested to see where Duke was going to get its points from with Irving and Smith gone (as well as missed shots without Singler). If the China trip is any indication, Rivers, Curry, Dawkins, and Kelly will be the offense. The incoming point guard is down with knee problems, so that might mean Rivers will need to run the point more."Tony Wroten Jr.: 15,8 ppg 5,1 rpg 5,4 apg 1,4 spg 0,6 bpg"
Don’t see it. UW’s history with freshmen, even very highly touted freshmen, doesn’t bode well. It isn’t like Gaddy, Suggs, Ross, and Wilcox are bums. I think he will play, but not be in that kind of featured role."Quincy Miller: 17,3 ppg 6,8 rpg 1,8 apg 1spg 1 bpg"
Perry Jones, Anthony Jones, and Quincy Acy tell me those numbers are much too high. He will be a freshman coming off a knee injury on a team loaded with upperclassmen at his position."LeBryan Nash: 16,8 ppg 7,1 rpg 2,1 apg 1,8 spg 1,2 bpg"
With no Moses, Pilgrim, and possibly no Darrell Williams, the opportunity exists for Nash to have a huge freshman year as a Big XII power forward. What that means for an NBA small forward prospect, I don’t know."Terrence Ross: 16,5 ppg 5 rpg 2,4 apg 1,1 spg 0,5 bpg"
It is hard for me to guess how the minutes and shots abdicated by Thomas, Holiday, and Overton will be distributed. I like Ross, but do Suggs and Wilcox as well."John Henson: 11,2 ppg 11 rpg 1 apg 0,8 spg 3,5 bpg"
They’ll probably blow out too many teams for these numbers to amass."Myck Kabongo: 11,4 ppg 4,1 rpg 6,4 apg 2,1 spg 0,2 bpg"
Texas has no choice but to play its freshman. They are returning J’Covan Brown and Alexis Wangmene, but no one else who saw the floor. Out of necessity, Kabongo might have to be one of the most heavily utilized freshmen in the country."Brad Beal: 13,8 ppg 4,4 rpg 2,3 apg 1,2 spg 0,4 bpg"
Erving Walker, Kenny Boynton, and Mike Rosario are also on the UF roster. I don’t see it. There are only so many shots, and there are three proven upperclassmen who Donovan already knows and trusts."Renardo Sidney: 15,2 ppg 7,1 rpg 2,1 apg 1,2 spg 1,2 bpg (18 games)"
It is all about whether he can stay on the court (conditioning, behavior, and fouls). If you tell me he averages 33 minutes per, he should be 20-10. That probably won’t be the case."Patrick Young: 10,8 ppg 9,8 rpg 1,2 apg 0,6 spg 2,4 bpg"
I don’t think he gets close to those numbers. First off, he was the master of two fouls and a hook last year. It concerns me. Plus, if are going to have an army of shoot-happy guards, I don’t see him coming close to 10-11 points per game."Will Barton: 16,4 ppg 5,5 rpg 3,2 apg 1,8 spg 0,5 bpg"
If he his more than 1 out of 4 threes, he has a chance.0 - Posted on: Sun, 08/21/2011 - 11:27am #592733

If he his more than 1 out of 4 threes, he has a chance.0 - AuthorPosts
