high floorParticipant1.) Over / Under total number of All NBA Defensive Selections?
2.) Over / Under total number of All Star Selections?
3.) Over / Under # of seasons he’s top 5 in blocks per game?
4.) Over / Under seasons he averages 15+ points per game?
5.) Over / Under seasons he averages more than 1.0 three’s per game?
*I’m torn on this guy. I was vocal about Wendell Carter’s potential and he looked great this summer league. Bamba has the tools to be a physical freak on both ends of the floor…… but does he have the drive to awesome? I’m not sure
Hoping to get all kinds of feedback on this post!!

The GoatParticipantYou’ve got two things going on here. Are you asking over/under a number you had in mind for each category or do you want us to just guess totals?

sweaterflexParticipant1.) Over / Under total number of All NBA Defensive Selections?
I’d put the over/under at 2.5 and take the under. He will be competing with Gobert, JJJ, Clint Capela, Joel Embiid, Jordan Bell, and a younger generation as well. I think he’ll block shots, but I don’t know that his team will consistently be top 5 in D.
2.) Over / Under total number of All Star Selections?
I’d put the over/under at 1.5 and take the under. Add to that previous list offense first centers like Towns, Jokic, Ayton, Bagley, and someday Vernon Carey Jr. and James Wiseman and the odds get pretty long, even if five of them get to make it a year.
3.) Over / Under # of seasons he’s top 5 in blocks per game?
I’d put the over/under at 3.5 and take the over. I don’t know that he’ll switch effectively or hold his position on the block, but I think he’ll swat a bunch of shots.
4.) Over / Under seasons he averages 15+ points per game?
I’d put this one at 4.5 and take the over. I think he maxes out at around 14 on a good team, but I think he’ll be on his share of bad teams.
5.) Over / Under seasons he averages 1.0+ 3 pointers per game?
I’d put this one at 3.5 and take the over. I don’t think he’ll shoot a particularly good percentage, but everyone is putting them up and he may not gain the strength to be an ideal dive man.

timinator1Participant4) Over/under seasons he avgs 15+ ppg…
if the number is 4.5, I’ll take the under.
5) Over/Under seasons he averages 1.0+ 3pt MAKES per game.
if the number is 3.5, I’m going to take the slightest under. He’s going to take a ton. Makes are another story.

Memphis MadnessParticipantI am a big Bamba guy. Had him 1 on my board up until the end when I moved Mitchell Robinson there (on my thread at least. I didn’t update my longer draft board).
JJJ is a guy I am warming up to. I think Bamba/Mitch Rob/Jaren jackson jr are the "Big 3" in this class.
For Bamba, put me down for 3 DPOY awards and a Finals MVP trophy. If Jackson scores more which I think he will he is more likely to win a regular season MVP award.
Ayton, Sexton, Doncic, Carter are a step below the "Big Three".
Trae Young might be all over the map but I think he makes at least one All Star Game.

frogmanParticipantList of big men to win Finals MVP’s in the last 30 years – Olajuwon, Duncan, Shaq, Nowitzki. Mo Bamba is not going close to joining that list.

HitsterParticipant1. 2.5 Over/Under for All NBA Defensive nods.
2. 2.5 Over/Under for All Star Games
3. 4.5 Over/Under for being in top 5 of blocks number of seasons
4. 1.5 Over/Under games over 15ppg
5. 6.5 Over/Under he takes or makes at least one 3 pointer per season.

The GoatParticipantI am trying to look at the careers of other guys and decide. He could potentially be better than Gobert, but he has a long way to reach his level yet and Rudy is yet to make an ASG.
Bogut had a solid although not a spectacular career. He had several years where he scored the ball, was a good passer, strong rebounder and elite defensively, but he ended with just one All NBA, one All Defensive and no ASGs.
Brook Lopez has an ASG appearance, hits the three ball now and has scored at a good rate, but he has likely peaked.
He can be better than these guys. I think he’s going to be a mix of the three, and be good, just not THAT good..
So, lets go with 2 all defensive, 1 DPOY, 2 ASGs, a three per game for 3 years, top 5 blocks for 5 years, over 15ppg twice.
Please message me in 15 years to see how I did.

HitsterParticipantI looked at Marcus Camby to try and get a middle level for Bamba. Camby was a DPOY but never made an All Star game off the top of my head. Another guy who I thought about as a comparison was Tyson Chandler.
