KHAM83ParticipantOk, so this is not a "trade idea" per say, but rather a trade prediction. Due to new rumors of Milwaukee’s interest in Eric Gordon, I think a 3 team deal occurs, involving the forum #1 trade idea of the past few months, Asik for Ryan Anderson. http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=mrpsnno Based on rumors that has made its way onto this forum, we know the following:
1. Houston wants to deal Asik for Anderson 2. NO rejected bc they want Anderson’s shooting to space the floor.
3. NO wants to move Gordon
4. The Bucks are interested in Gordon, has made Illyasova available and Gary Neal has asked for a trade.
If the above rumors are true, I predict
Houston gets Anderson, who they want
Milwaukee gets Gordon, who they want
NO gets Asik, who they need
Illyasova, replaces Anderson and can play sf
Neal, provides shooting to space the floor

TyroberParticipantIf everyone was healthy I like the trade a lot, but Anderson has been injured for over a month and there is a chance that he doesn’t play for the rest of the season so I don’t know if Houston wants to just give him away for a trade that will still be there in the offseason. I would LOVE to see Asik playing center which would allow Davis to play the PF full time, but it’s super hard to trade injured players.

dmo21ParticipantSo you said New Orleans doesn’t want to trade Anderson but you have him being traded (plus he’s injured). I haven’t heard the Gordon to Bucks rumour, but if it’s real this would be my trade idea:
New Orleans trades Gordon and Stiemsma for Asik and Mayo.
Houston trades Asik for Ilyasova and Neal.
Milwaukee trades Ilyasova, Mayo and Neal for Gordon and Stiemsma.
