    1.) James Harden – 31.2ppg

    2.) Russell Westbrook – 29.1ppg

    3.) Demarcus Cousins – 27.6ppg

    4.) Damian Lillard – 25.1ppg

    5.) Steph Curry – 24.6ppg

    6.) Kevin Durant – 24.3ppg

    7.) Lebron James – 24.2ppg

    8.) Anthony Davis – 24.1ppg

    9.) Karl Anthony Towns – 24.0ppg

    10.) Paul George – 23.5ppg

*Mike D’Antoni will get Harden over 30ppg, Westbrook will average a career high 29.1ppg. Rank 4-9 will be extremely close, and Karl Anthony Towns will make a similar leap like David Robinson, Hakeem Olajuwon, Patrick Ewing and average 24ppg his second season.

Blake Griffin and Demar Derozan could  average around 24 as well

Blake is in a contract year, so I expect his scoring to go up.. but he’s averaged under 22ppg the last 2 seasons.. so I think a jump to 23ppg is most realistic for him. I have Demar at a 23ppg clip next year too.

Gotta be in the top ten somewhere. I especially think hat they will put more of a load on him after that finals run, in addition to lightening lebron load. They found a formula that works which is bron and kyrie one two punch therefore if irv can stay healthy I can see him averaging 25 a night

Good point about the Harden effect on D’Antoni. I’d posted on another topic that Westbrook could be a fun bet to be top scorer given that KD and Steph Curry MVP may cancel each other out and LBJ will have his minutes watched.

I’d agree that DMC, Davis, Lillard, DeRozan and George will be there or there abouts in the top 10.

I’m going to suggest Wiggins, he averaged 20ppg last season and if he steps up to 23ppg he’d be very near the top 10.

Thomas at Boston will see a lot of the ball too so could edge into the top 10.

Brook Lopez will be by far the best player on Brooklyn’s roster so could have a stats padding year.

Kawhi, Jimmy Butler or Kemba Walker might be in the mix too.

My wildcard would be Jabari Parker if everything clicked but realistically he may be more in 20ppg range.

You’d normally expect Carmelo to be in there somewhere but it will be kind of interesting to see how the Knicks play this year and what effect it will have on his stats. Will they still run their offense primarily through him in the half court or look to push the ball more in transition with D-Rose and run more of their offense through Porzingis and noah in the high post? He already seemed to embrace more of a playmaking role last season and it will be interesting to see if his usage rate continues to go down this year with more talent around him and he plays off the ball more.

I could see George sacrificing some points for much needed efficiency now that they brought it more guys that can score the ball such as Jefferson, young, and Teague. Also have to add in Myles turner too if he keeps improving like he has been. If replace George with either Kyrie or McCollum as both can build off of the strong finishes they had to their seasons respectively.

Has has even been a more perfect fit in the history of basketball between player and coach than Harden and D’Antoni — a player that doesn’t like defense and a coach that doesn’t care about defense?

I’m going to be interested watching Houston to see how they figure under a D’Antoni system. Harden, Ariza and Anderson look great fits in it but has a D’Antoni system ever really worked without Steve Nash pulling the strings.

Harden if he is given licence to shoot at will could have a mega season but I’m not sure if the team will have any greater success.
