tli232Finally, someone who puts Cole Aldrich out of the top 10. I mean, seriously, how many White Centres with limited athleticism actually succeed and deserve a high lottery pick? Analysis shows that the chance that he’ll be a bust if drafted in the lottery is pretty high.

esperanzafleet69Participantkaman miller hawes u want me to keep going?
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/02/2009 - 12:45pm #209200

Lemons4LifeParticipant5-10. ok I guess.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/02/2009 - 1:23pm #209227

blazer_fan_foreverParticipantWhy do you have to mention the white part? Can’t you say nonathletic centers don’t succeed? There are plenty of black centers that are not athletic…BTW-Cole is a solid athlete. List is solid Q, but Buford is going to be lower. Henson higher. Davis slightly lower.

QHaynes20Ed Davis will be a top 5 pick i think he can go 1st if he dominates.
William Buford is gonna be a starting 2. He will be a good need for a lot of team
Henson slips because we dont know if he’s a 3 or a 4

blazer_fan_foreverParticipantIsn’t better than Favors and we all know that Wall is pretty much the 1st pick no matter what.

SpencerIsHawesome2Participantyou should make it with your predicted draft order too if youre bored.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/02/2009 - 1:52pm #209267
QHaynes20Not true…there is a chance Wall does not go 1st.
Davis can be better then Favors….he has good defense, amazing shotblocking ability and a devloping post up game.
0- Posted on: Wed, 09/02/2009 - 1:56pm #209270

blazer_fan_foreverParticipantAny day…Favors has everything Davis has, plus more strength, probably more athleticism, and a little bit more versatile…Not to mention that he’s 2 years younger.

Michael.S.Participantlittle bit more versatile? No, Davis perimeter game is a mile better then Favor’s.
0- Posted on: Wed, 09/02/2009 - 2:10pm #209286

blazer_fan_foreverParticipantBeing the big UNC fan that I am, and watching Davis, I think he has a decent perimeter game. I think Favors has an underrated perimeter game and he is two years younger so he has time to work on his handles and shot.

QHaynes20Well, I would go with Davis. I like his game.
Favors is good too but needs to work on his stamina

jeff416ParticipantWall is not the guarenteed first pick he might be overhyped or he could get injured im just saying you never know what can happen so he is not a lock for the first pick.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/02/2009 - 2:09pm #209283
QHaynes20I agree
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/02/2009 - 2:12pm #209288

HaleParticipantVery good list, I agree with almost all of it. I don’t think Bradley will go that low and I don’t think Henson will enter this year, but I agree with all else.

quincey hodgeswall is not for sure number one so please stop with that..tli did you have to mention the white part?..and blazer is right there are alot of blk centers who were worst and there are a couple of pretty good white centers out there if i was white id be offended like i would be if some one did it in reverse and was talking about black quarter backs..personally im in the minority that doesnt agree with the mock draft seeing as i dont put guys who havn’t played against college competition yet so high as a sure thing or players liek ed davis who has potenial but hasnt shown he can dominate yet. personally i think greg monroe will have a better year then ed davis and is a better player. as far as bradley if he shows he can run the point guard postion his stock goes way up since hes very athletic very good mid range and a very good defender

QHaynes20Monroe is in the 1st pick race
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/02/2009 - 3:11pm #209341

HaleParticipantAgree.

Michael.S.ParticipantTli is a mod, aren’t they supposed to clean up the forums? I mean come on, bringing race into this was just dumb.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/02/2009 - 3:50pm #209349
QHaynes20No it wasn’t…he was speaking the truth. Why do you think alot of white players aren’t drafted high or at all?
Athleticism, toughness, potential
0- Posted on: Wed, 09/02/2009 - 5:08pm #209369

blazer_fan_foreverParticipantQ-There are plenty of black people who aren’t athletic…INCLUDING in the NBA. There are plenty of white people who aren’t athletic…INCLUDING in the NBA. Also, why did you say toughness? Are you saying white people aren’t tough? Not trying to cause an argument lol…Just curious.

ball4life66Participant“No, Davis perimeter game is a mile better then Favor’s.”
Hopefully youre not serious 100% False.
If Gani might be projected to go 2nd round he’s defintely not coming out.

who.am.i.nbadraftdotnetParticipantI think Aldrich WILL be top 10 because of his size…and I am also very high on greg monroe. he is so gifted, if he can just be more agressive…
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/02/2009 - 5:09pm #209370

SpencerIsHawesome2ParticipantAthleticism, toughness, potential
So.. white people aren’t tough?
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/02/2009 - 5:19pm #209371
Ryan.Cook2Participanthe will be like pryzbilla with some offense. He is a hella good rebounder and shot blocker.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/02/2009 - 5:26pm #209377
QHaynes20I never said White people were any of things. These were the excuses I heard from players I liked over the last couple of drafts.
I loved Chase Budinger in this year’s draft. All I heard was “he’s not tough enough”
As a Duke fan I thought Josh McRoberts was a steal. All I heard was “not enough potential”
I like Spencer Hawes and people said ” Not enough Athleticism.”
0- Posted on: Wed, 09/02/2009 - 6:06pm #209401

blazer_fan_foreverParticipantThose are individuals…There are plenty of players (Black, White, Mexican, Chinese ANYTHING) who have those same issues.

QHaynes20I agree but there hasn’t been alot of white players who got a chance in the L for those reasons.
Im not been racist…being honest
