Malik-UniversalParticipantI only got a glimpse of his leg…. wasn’t it twisted a full 90 degrees??

JoeyGladstoneParticipantNot sure it was hard to look at. Honestly looked like his shin split in half or something & was sticking through his leg. I have no clue though, something was def hanging though.
Def pullin for Louisville now.

DolanCareParticipantIt was tough to watch Pitino try to keep his composure. Luckily he’s a sophmore so he has a lot more ball left in him!

JoeyGladstoneParticipantHe was playing so well though & you could see his confidence was as high as it’s ever been. He is a big part to their pressure D. I really hope they can pull it out for the kid.
Just tough.
Broken Leg they say.

TomShoeParticipantDang, that injury was horrible.
Prayers to him and his family. I still have to root for Duke, bad as it seems.

aamir543ParticipantOh no, the way his leg went was scary, I really hope he’s OK, but it looked scary. Condolences go out to his family, credit to Pitino for keeping his guys composed, if I were him, I might’ve just started sobbing on the bench.
And I’ve lost respect for CBS, they should’ve cut to commercial break, just disrespectful if you ask me.

akhan786ParticipantUgh. Heart out to the kid. Did he slip on the sticker on the floor? If so its f*cking bullsh!t that they still have those on basketball court.
They could have just ruined this kids career and his chance to play in a Final Four. God I started getting teary eyed.

Meditated StatesParticipantLots of rehab. Learn how to walk and everything all over again. That’s screws pins and needles. Hard to watch. Ruined my day.

Bosnian-Bobcats-FanParticipantworse than the livingston injury….absolutely terrible that this happened…hope he can somehow recover and be able to hoop again….the people making jokes about the injury just seeking attention are just disgraces

i’m jus so offendedParticipantI don’t think anyone on here can even imagine what he felt on that stretcher, only able to look at the rafters as thousands applauded near him and millions watched. I don’t think there is any doubt he will recover physically. He’s a NY kid. Still though, something like that is mental. Look at D Rose. I’m not going to bash him but Shumpert has been back for over a month now. I read an article on ESPN about Livingston and the anniversary of his injury and he struggled with the fear. I’m not going to say I’m afraid but just even seeing Ware go down made me think for a second whether I want to go to the gym tomorrow and hoop. I hope the kid comes back and stronger than ever but from here on out, it’s all about whether he can come back to what was turning him into a great player. And that playing the game of basketball with no fear.

halfdecayedParticipantI am not feeling well after seeing this while eating a french fry.. Poor kid horrible injury

aamir543ParticipantThis article says it’s a “broken lower right leg”, he’s resting comfortably, and the pain is under control. It also says it’ll take him a year to rehab from this.
I’m just glad it’s not a life altering injury, the way it looked like, wish him the best of luck in his rehab, this Louisville team seems like a tight knit group of guys, they have the best talent and now they have Ware to rally around, they’re definitely the front-runners at this point.

nick5354ParticipantLivingston should give this kid a call and meet. I hope he uses Livingston as a mentor in working hard, going through it and coping with such a injury. I am sure Livingston would love to help Ware out. He has been there.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantWatching that like was a flashback for me….
I was in a car accident in 2009 when a drunk guy on a motorcycle came into my lane and ran into me as i sat a traffic light….As i sat waiting for the light to turn green,i glanced over at the car beside me becuz they were blasting loud latino music..When i turned back around ,all i saw was a figure on a motorcycle with bright lights coming toward me..I was so shocked i couldnt move..
Dude hit my car and his body went about 10 feet up into the air, finally landing on side of the road..I parked my car and went over to see how he was doing..Some cops that were gassing up at the convience store, came running up and told me to help get him out of the street….After we laid him on the sidewalk,it seemed like he wasnt breathing, my heart almost stopped,i thought i had killed him..The cop checked him and some he had a pulse..So i started to feel a little better until someone in the crowd that had gathered around the scene shouted ”dam look at his leg”!! Then i heard a girl say ”ewwwww, i cant even look’..I looked at his leg and it had bent backwards..About 5 minutes later the paramedics showed up..They told us they might have to cut his leg off..I was like dam!! Even though it wasnt my fault i kept thinking to myself if i hadnt came this way, this wouldnt have happen…..
