Some people on this site refer to themselves as well-respected. That led me to think what makes you well respected on this site? What makes you better then another? Basically if you post a ton, you become respected. That was the one basic thing to me that stood out. I can’t think of anyone who posts realistic topics often, who isn’t respected. Dhamp, I hate the guy, but I respect him for going out on a limb and going against what others believe. Although, I don’t agree with most of it, it earned my respect. Just something to think about.

I’m sry if this is a stupid question but, if you have a ton of post and negative points, are you well respected? And the inverse, if you have a ton of post and alot of points, are you well respected?

Most likely, that is the problem though. I think just because you post a lot doesn’t mean you should be respected. Those who give the most insightful information deserve to be.

I think what makes you respected is having a great basketball IQ, simple as that..

If you know what your talking about, and make a legit point, your respected

Wether people want to admit it or not, I think Knicksboy & DHamp are a couple of the 2 most respected users on this site..(theres others, but singling them out to make my point..)

Ironic how they always disagree, on almost every subject, but you gotta respect them because they know what the hell there talking about (most of the time..)

I have a lot of respect for you, keep giving those summer league reports (unless it’s over, I haven’t poayed attention to it) I really like the point of view on the prospects.
