RickyRubio9ParticipantGlen "Big Baby" Davis is possibly on the way to New Jersey for the one, the only, Yi Jialian…Can we say, 3rd team in 3 years? :O This is…heartbreaking. I feel bad for that kid…Boston? C’mon now, before the freaking injury he was putting up like 15 and 6 or something around that.

RickyRubio9ParticipantSorry…haha. I’m kind of getting tired, but I wouldn’t trust the link anyways, it was a talk show on the radio I believe…so I doubt it is anything serious, but New Jersey does have interest in Big Baby.

I think it starts talking about the Davis – Yi trade rumor the third paragraph down

butidonthavemoneyI guess it is just a rumor right now. Boston would be smart to get something for him if they don’t want to keep him.

llperezI would take Yi over Davis right now.

butidonthavemoneyCare to elaborate?
0 - Posted on: Mon, 07/27/2009 - 8:42pm #191731

llperezI’ll admit it’s close between the 2. Davis does defend better, but i think Yi has way more upside. He has not been in the best of situations to just fill a roll. The Bucks and Nets have asked him to create his own offense and he has shown the ability to. Davis has been left almost completley alone on his jumpers. He has no back to the basket game and he does’nt run the court well. What you see is what you get with Davis. Unless you think he is gonna improve athletically or suddenly develop post moves that he neer even really showed in college let alone the NBA.
Yi has a better stroke, is a better athlete, and just has more upside in general. I would rather roll the dice with Yi at this point then take Davis.

butidonthavemoneyWell said! +1
I think New Jersey needs Big Baby more than Yi. This is a good trade for both teams.

marcusfizer21ParticipantHmmmm… I think it could benefit for both teams.. Big Baby has proven to the NBA that he was a draft steal on the 2007 Draft Night… I thought he did a good job as a rookie then… Then this season, he has truly blossomed for the C’s… Yi has been disappointing with many people thinking he could be a better version of Darko(yikes!) but I think he still have a lot of upside… No doubt in my mind this is a win-win trade scenario for both individuals..^^

Sorry.Winning.ParticipantYi should get out of the leauge he had been nothing good for the NBA since draft night he didnt want to play in miwaukee because it wasnt a big market…but IMO big stars should only have the right to claim they will only play in a big market and well Yi you suck on D(defense) cant really hack it in the post on offense and you are actually a late first round talent not a lottery pick

Champzilla21Participantseriously u take davis, Yi has done absolutely nothing for any of the teams hes been on, Davis stepped up in the playoffs and hit a game winning shot like comeon, he was also very good during the season, and this clip right here shows why Yi is a piece of crap and quit making excuses for him http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ay2-0QMt_tU
