Aight, so I’m thinking why the T-Wolves made a unnecessary move for Millicic and why is John Salmons told to stay at home in NY? My answer, a possible trade between Bulls and T-Wolves. The trade machine don’t work for me but I’m pretty sure this works.

    Minnesota Gets:
    Tyrus Thomas
    John Salmons

    Bulls Get:
    Darko Millicic
    Pecherov
A LATE 1st round pick or couple of 2nds

    Why?

Minnesota has a young PF named Peckovic coming over next year and therefore the young (18th overall pick in 06 and has potential) Pecherov can look to be moved to make room for Peckovic. Darko has an expiring contract which the bulls would love to get. Then they also would the latest of Minnesota’s firsts or a couple 2nds.

Its also been reported Minny is interested in Tyrus and then Salmons would be a nice fit as he could play SG/SF for them this season and then if Minny gets a SG or SF in FA or the draft, he has proven he can be a nice 6th man as well.

Any thought? Just trying to come up with scenarios to get some conversation.

I like it. They can get rid of Salmons contract and Tyrus can finally go try and mesh somewhere else. The Bulls will be getting expiring contracts and a first round pick. Perfect.

you mean like a late first round pick right….if its a late one i like the deal is good…but if its like a lottery i know minny wouldnt do that…but yeah its a good deal i just hope bulls get a good team next year with all this money they will have…i want to see this bulls team rise to the top…and i def want to see how Rose will do with better talent around him…and youll see that Rose is a pg not a combo guard…

I would much rather Rose be a point guard but he is being forced to be a shooting guard now and seems to be enjoying it. Rose will do whatever is asked of him though, I like his character

I just heard Khan say that he has been working on getting Darko for Cardinal for awhile now but NY was trying to package Darko and since they couldn’t, they traded with the wolves.

Wolves trade away a 2nd draft pick along expiring contracts to the Bulls for Thomas and Solomons would be the most ideal trade here for Khan. I’m going to guess, Blount, Pecherov, and either Wilkins for Thomas and Solmons.

Bulls will have 13.6 mill in cap space after this year.

If this goes down, good ups to the wolves for upgraded their roster. Khan making small and marginal moves.

Jefferson – Hollins, Darko and Jawai
    Love – Thomas
Solomons – Gomes, Pavlovic, and Alando Tucker
    Brewer – Ellington
    Flynn – Session
