Tim49461ParticipantCall me crazy but after the Heat walk into the easiest Championship won since ’06. I see teams following the same blue print. Let me first state i realize it is highly unlikely but Kobe/Mitch will force the issue to sign another big name. Once again HIGHLY UNLIKELY
Here is my blue print:
This offseason their #1 target will be Dwight Howard.
So their best offer would be Bynum/Odom 2 first round picks for Howard/Nelson or Arenas
If Orlando bites knowing Howard is out and wants the only young talent anyone can offer. Then the Lakers now have There next Shaq to pair with Kobe.
But knowing just adding Dwight Howard will not be enough to keep Howard around after Kobe retires.
They will try the impossible and repackage Nelson or Arenas along with Ron Artest 1st rounder and maybe throw in Luke Walton depending if it is Nelson or Arenas to get Chris Paul
So you have Arenas or Nelson/Ron/1st rounder/Walton for Chris Paul.
If it is Nelson they get a young proven point and with Ron well depending on how motivated he is can be good for them. the 1st rounder would be 3 years later but its still a 1st rounder.
They wont have a bench just like Miami but who cares. Its working for them
With a team like:
Pg: Chris Paul
Sg: Kobe Bryant
Sf: Anyone/Put Devin Ebanks for Funnzies
Pf: Pau Gasol
C Dwight Howard
Miami filled the rest of the roster with people who signed for 1 mil and less i 1000% sure the Lakers could do the the same.
I realize it is highly unlikey but I think everyone would agree they are going to make a move for one of them. They want to win now while setting up for the future.

JimmeredYaWabafetParticipantboth trades are shit for the opposing teams.they should trade Odom for a point guard if Tj Ford isnt interested in LA.

LazarusMunozParticipantOrlando is gonna have so many other much better deals on the table for Howard….the only way he could go to The Lakers is if he tries and pull a Carmelo

Chilbert arenasParticipantNBA owns the Hornets these days so who knows if/when/how Chris Paul will be traded. They won’t screw themselves with that trade though.
