Batum looked very impressive 31 points was stroking down threes and had 7 assists too for a small forward that young hes a great passer, Aldridge put up another 20 point game people like to criticize him for what he cant do but people forget how smooth he is offensively, rudys becoming more aggressive instead of just settling for threes hes attacking the hoop and making plays,even Mills stepped in at the end and scored 8 points in the last four minutes.

Guy is something special. He does so many little things. When he is aggressive, he is almost unguardable at times. I like Webster coming off the bench as a 6th man. LA played good, so did Camby. Roy didn’t really need to do anything. He had 9 assist.

On a side note, why is Corey Brewer so bad? He got absolutely abused by Batum (I thought he was a good defender) and was laughing when they were down by 30.

Portand lost something trading the spark outlaw! although camby will help them make the playoffs, Portand will miss outlaw in the playoffs.

Outlaw is not the spark for the blazers. He has been out most of the season with injuries. (So has the rest of the team pretty much. The spark for the Blazers is a mixture of players. Sometimes its Jerryd Bayless, sometimes it Martell Webster, other nights its Batum, but it has never been Outlaw. As for the playoffs, they will do well, if they are healthy. Their health is the only thing that matters to their success

Yes, Batum is an excellent player. This team should draft a PG to replace Andre Miller(old). Do you guys think the same way, or is Bayless his replacement? If that is the case then what position should they go for in the 2010 draft. Maybe a PF to backup Aldridge, (but that’s all I can think) This team doesn’t really have a pressing need.

Outlaw was not the sparkplug. If the Blazers can stay healthy, they don’t need to draft anybody really.

J-Dude, Outlaw was going to be traded no matter what happend. If we were healthy, we still would’ve traded him. There’s no room for Outlaw. That’s why we got rid of him.

I don’t think the blazers need a real point guard since Roy handles the ball most of the time. Just need another guy that can consistently shoot well in the perimeters since Webster, Rudy, and the other guys aren’t consistent.

Outlaw was the spark por. needed to be succesfful in the playoffs, camby is only a one year fix! Outlaw was the future sparke or 15 pt. scorerer not a 2 block 12 rebs. player, that joel P was!

talk, i always thought outlaw was the X factor in games. that is why i think is was not a wise move! Camby is a year after year defensive specialist, all I am saying is por. lost a punch off the bench against the games i habe watched it’s ckinda losing a ronnie brewer for a future draft pick. LOL,. Camby will help POR. this year but think about next year with oden (no offense) and camby a) no offense) they will be good at D but BROY will have to be asked to score everything, Aldich is not a star in this league!

they have Webster, Fernandez, and Bayless. so they’re fine with that. as for draft, either draft a backup power forward or a shooting guard/small forward for some depth

I think Outlaw was a nice piece for them, but they were never going to re-sign him. He was the one guy that was always in trade rumors, so he’s been the odd man out for awhile. With no actual center, Camby became worth it. I don’t think that team had a chance in the playoffs with no big man and don’t say Aldridge because he plays way too small.

I agree with you. Outlaw was a spark plug off of the bench for the Blazers last season. He was their third best offensive player and second best clutch player. He had his flaws, but he made some huge buckets and put together huge games during his time with the Blazers. He was pretty versatile too, considering he played both forward spots. Trading Blake and Outlaw wasn’t a decision Kevin Pritchard enjoyed making, but it was necesary and made sense roster/financially wise.
