OldSkoolBasketballParticipantClippers wouldn’t match Blazers offer for Olshey. Typical Sterling.

OldSkoolBasketballParticipantMaybe for one draft pick but not for both.

laarethekingsParticipantIf you ran the Blazers would you trade the 6th and 11th for Pau?

laarethekingsParticipantI can only wish for both…

drk3351Participantwhy would the blazers need pau? they dumped their whole team and is rebuilding around aldridge and batum. why waste a valuable lottery pick when their not contending on a guy that will be way past his prime when you may be contending in 2/3 years?

IndianaBasketballParticipantOlshey is overrated… He didn’t do anything special. He got a lot of help from David Stern and the NBA getting Chris Paul.

aamir543ParticipantOlshey actually made some pretty bad moves, like signing Caron Butler to that hefty contract that still owes him 16 million over the next two seasons, and the Baron Davis trade, regardless of the circumstances at the time I didn’t think it was worth giving up a top 7 pick to dump one year of his contract. Portland fires all of the good guys like Prithard and Cho, now they’re each 2nd in command behind legends and two of the top 6 or 7 players of all time.
