cuseflynn10ParticipantIf Portland lands Drummond at #6, and Lillard is off the board before their next pick, who does Portland target?
Would they reach for Marshall or Teague? Go after Waiters, even though I’m assuming their not the team that gave him the promist? Gamble on PJ3 to have a front line with three players measuring 6’11? Trade down? Other?
I’m trying to put the finishing touches on my mock draft, and pick #11 is a hard pick to mock. I’d say it’s up there with #2 and #7.

torontoraptors10ParticipantI think the Trail Blazer would go with Austin Rivers because of the uncertainty around Jamal Crawford. He is a scoring guard and the Blazers could really use one.

Evan_MilbergParticipant…I’d trade down for Marshall. The consensus seems to be that he won’t be a top 15 pick. I think it would be a better move to get the best passer in this draft than to reach on a combo guard. Rivers or Waiters could be enticing, though. If we’re talking SG to potentially replace Crawford, then I guess you have to throw Ross into the mix at 11 also.

artofwarParticipantI think Marshall would be the best pick. I know its a reach, but it will work for them. With his passing skills and that line up, they could get back to the playoffs.

mj23mj23besteverParticipanthed be a great pick for the blazers they need a floor general too distribute the ball too la and batum i know he doesnt have a jumper at but imo his passing and leadership qualities make up for it

Chilbert arenasParticipantMarshall would be able to get Drummond easy buckets to get him going as well.

topotamolderParticipantAs the other poster said, If they get Drummond and Lillard isn’t available, Rivers make sense . Porland lacks outside shoot and a guard capable of creating instant offense and a closer at crunch time. Rivers gives them these 3 things.

mamadouParticipantRivers or waiters only, searching the pure scoring ability they lack.
They won’t reach on marshall if they missed lillard, they’ll go via trade or free agency to find the guy.
