      I think his mom used to call him that when he was a child, and it soon became a nickname. He even has a tattoo on his shoulder that says "Poohdini."

    G-ma gave him  that nickname. On account of him being extra light-skinned when he was born, like Winnie the Pooh lol. It was funny when someone tried to flip it sayin he got that name because its "hoop" spelled backwards. LIES! lol
