 This will now force 4th Dimension to defend his ideas rather than crying about negative points.  He claims he is one of the best posters, but he just posts an idea, it gets a bunch of negatives and rather than defend his post with logical points he cries about points.  I always thought if you were getting a bunch of negatives on a post you should continue to make solid points to defend it.

I personally don’t care either way about the points. If you need validation from others on your topic than you’re probably not making a strong point to begin with. I’ve gotten all negatives just for making a thread written in caps. 90% of the responses I got on that thread had nothing to do with my topic, instead the fact that I wrote in caps. It happens. As a system of knowing what was popping and such. I used to check just to see if there was activity on a post, it is more difficult to do this without them. I liked the suggestion of only having "Likes" or thumbs up, just as a way of either acknowledging a post or as a way too see whether someone is responsive or not. It has not been as easy to do this without points, and I feel like activity is definitely down. As far as negs are concerned, I would be all for a system where it tells you who gives them or not. I am always willing to give a reason for what I think, negative or positive.

As far as you go 4th dimension, STOP WHINING! The reason we are saying these things, and the reason people were negging you was due to your incredible ability to talk about ANYTHING OTHER THAN BASKETBALL! I do not remember the last time you actually wrote about basketball, you just whined about points, or talked about points, or gave yourself credit for basketball knowledge without ever displaying any.

Let me just go over a brief history of maybe why people negged you on posts I can bring up without trying hard:

Phil Jackson and Miami Heat: Phil retired because his body is broken. He can barely walk and coaching has taken a huge toll on him, as did his playing career. So, maybe some research on that could have lead you not to post it. Not to mention, when someone negs you, move the heck on instead of whining about it. 

Jonny Flynn and Ricky Rubio: I actually remember this not getting too much negative response, though I have no idea why not. The reason people made fun of David Kahn for drafting PG’s were these two individuals being drafted back to back. I think there is little to no chance they work together on a good team, and the fact that they seem to be willing to trade Flynn and a higher pick for DeMar DeRozan and a lower pick is an admission of this failure. DeMar DeRozan was taken in that same draft as the 9th pick, and in retrospect (and even at the time) MADE WAY MORE SENSE THAN FLYNN! This back court is completely doomed if you want them too start, and you want Rubio to guard 2’s. 

These are the two I will comment on, but you do not put a lot of work or thought into your post, and while the Colton Iverson joke only got bigger when you completely had no sense of humor about it, and people do not necessarily respond well too people patting themselves on the back, especially when they have shown as little as you havc. Hope this message maybe changes your mind set, though my prompting has yet too.

What was this point scandal? I kind of remember like the points all switching around and everything, when we started with points in the beginning, I remember you could give someone multiple pluses and minuses, which was crazy. I also know I got some points for having a decent Mock Draft last year, even though the sites one was better, though I am still going to go for the gusto like always and not just copy the sites for more points, and I am sure as hell not copying any other sites. Well, whatever the scandal was, it truly must have been great.  

Right now, I am about to watch some horses run really fast in the last race of the Triple Crown 🙂 (on TV, but I just like putting it that way)
