Playoff Pickum Game 2025

Okay, let’s try this again for another year! Hopefully we get more interest this year!
Simple concept. Pick who you think is going to win each matchup and in how many games. Get points for predicting the right winner and get more points for predicting the right amount of games (only if your team wins, of course). Points escalate as we go further into the playoffs. It’s probably the easiest just to follow my format (well, easier for me). So here are my picks for this year:

Do play in stats count as play off or regular season stats or are they stand alone I just wondered.
I must admit I don’t like the 2nd chance games I just think it should be 7th vs 10th and 8th vs 9th with winners playing 2nd and 1st seeds respectively in the play off proper. Be straight play in games like in March Madness.

Going to change my first round prediction as Houston is now playing Golden State. I still the Rockets will pull it off, but I think it’ll be 7 games now.

Post first round update! Well, nobody got the whole first round correct, so nobody is running away with it! Current standings are:
1) r377 with 10 points (six first round picks were correct, hitting the correct games on 4 of them)
2) NorrinRadd with 9 points
3) Hitster with 8 points (has the most potential as he still has all his second round picks still in the playoffs, unlike everyone else)
4) Zouldiers with 6 points
5) nbadraft consensus with 6 points (only had 4 first round picks correct)
6) dmo21 with 5 points (picking the Lakers getting to the finals was a bad choice)
7) OhCanada with 4 points (having the Clippers win it all was a really bad choice ha)

Well, the second round didn’t go great for any of us… The only team any of us got correct was OKC.
Current Standings:
1) r377 with 12 points
2) NorrinRadd with 11 points (can catch up with r377 as Norrin has OKC winning it all while r377 does not)
3) Hitster with 10 points
4) Zouldiers with 8 points
5) nbadraft consensus with 8 points
6) dmo21 with 7 points (currently maxed out as the Celtics/Lakers finals won’t happen)
7) OhCanada with 4 points (maxed out as well. Only person not to pick OKC)
