Well this playoffs snuck up on me this year! But I remembered in time for the 7th annual Playoff Pickum Game!

Simple concept. Pick who you think is going to win each matchup and in how many games. Get points for predicting the right winner and get more points for predicting the right amount of games (only if your team wins, of course). Points escalate as we go further into the playoffs. All picks must be made prior to the tip off of the first playoff game. I’m not including or counting the play in game. You can change your choices after you post, but still only before the first game. Last years can be seen here: https://www.nbadraft.net/forums/topic/playoff-pickum-game-2016/

Here’s the standings update after the first round of playoffs!

1. Zouldiers – 9 points (got all the first round winners correct!)
2. sniper – 9 points (got one first round winner wrong)
3. DC Frayyz – 9 points (two first round winners wrong, but nailed the games on 3 of his winners. Having OKC making it to the ECF hurts though)
4. dmo21 & bt102 – 8 points (pretty much identical, 6 first round winners correct, 2 games correct)
6. BKGingerSnap – 8 points (same as above, except OKC in the ECF drops you for now)
7. OhCanada – 7 points (only one winner wrong, but never got the games correct in any matchups)
8. armchairgm – 7 points (two wrong picks in the first round, only got the games correct in one matchup)

Still anybody’s game! However, Zouldiers is looking pretty solid with his Boston and Miami picks…

Better late than never, but here’s the update after the second round! Lots of movers and shakers!

1. Zouldiers – 17 points (Clippers ruined your perfect streak, and to make matters worse, you had Clippers winning it all. Which leaves the door open for someone to surpass you.)
2. armchairgm – 15 points (On the rise and has the most potential! Only user with their finals matchup still a possibility.)
3. sniper – 13 points
4. bt102 – 12 points (Good thing you’re in fourth, because you’re not getting any more points.. the MIL/LAC finals ain’t happening.)
5. OhCanada – 11 points
6. DC Frayyz – 11 points (less potential points than OhCanada)
7. dmo21 – 10 points
8. BKGingerSnap – 10 points (no difference than my score, I just didn’t want to put myself last… haha)

2. armchairgm – 21 points (the only other user that can win. Gets the win if the Lakers win it all). Also the only person to get the finals match up correct.

4. OhCanada – 14 points (still has a chance to jump up for bronze!)
5. DC Frayyz – 14 points (maxed out as the Clippers ain’t winning nothing!)

7. bt102 – 12 points (only 1 pick right since the first round)
